today, i went to CBA branch at

in front of the teller there are 2 money magazine, then i asked the teller if i can take home that magazine, and she said yes. i haven't visited other branch yet. not sure if this is also applicable at other cba branches.

Used to be free reading when Borders was still around.
So there were two copies of a magazine at one bank branch and you took one so that leaves one for everyone else? Hmmm…
they got 4 desk = 4*2 = 8, i took one then left 7.
then on the waiting area i saw another 4 left. so in total in that branch got 11 left. and they might got more, on the cover of the magazine mentioned bank of the year.
i am guessing cba do this as part of their marketing campaign.
If you are in the city you can check it out, otherwise I don't think it's worth it to go there just for a freebee!

many people think that you only can read that magazine at the branch, until u ask to the bank staff, and how many people ask if that magazine for free?
Anyone who is interested, there are some free magazines (Various titles) at any GP, Dentist, <your local waiting room>, some in used condition, good for a read, and remember, they are FREE!! :)
Hey, why bother with used magazines at your GP, etc. There are free new magazines at your newsagent's to read. (Just don't read too long or try to walk out with them. :)
True… just the ones I see are usually 3 years old. OP hasn't said whether this is the current edition though…
thanks mate, i just updated the title, it is june 2011 edition issue 135, new magazine.
i picked up a copy today at my local branch. it's got the money magazine awards 2011 in it. they are giving them away because cba was bank of the year in it.
Didn't see the word "magazine" on first look at product title.
Disappointed.
