Days/dates in terms and conditions are incorrect and do not align - 'Tuesday 26th June" and "Wednesday 27th May"

    • Oops fixed, thanks!

      • +1

No probs, but wasn't just the "May" one - Tuesday (today) is the 25th. Wednesday is the 26th.

        • +1

          Thanks again :)

      • what about ebay.com.au , does this count?

        • eBay.com.au's not available so you'll need to go through eBay US (eBay.com).

          • @gotyourback: My Woolworths and OzBargain cashback from April is stuck in pending.

No one is responding to your livechat. What's the point if you don't pay out and you don't respond on livechat?

            • @arcticmonkey: Just had a look based on the account details you supplied in the past, Woolworths Gift Cards + OzBargain bonuses from April are all confirmed?

Regarding live chat - you've might've reached them while they're responding to a few others on the line as well.

              • +1

@gotyourback: It doesn't show as paid out from what I can see.

I waited an hour with Livechat on in the background and no one bothered to respond.

                It appears to be unmanned.

Rather than give $2, I'd recommend sorting out these service issues first.

Can you respond to my private message please?

  • Thanks OP

    Cashback WAR!!!

  • +8

This is why I primarily use shopback, way better deals than the others

  • +10

Just look at how far ShopBack has come along. From initially hearing about it to how they're dominating the game now. Wonder what's the market share between the two of you

    • +1

Shopback are an international brand so I would imagine they have more market share globally and some big investors such as Rakuten Capital, EV Growth, Credit Saison Blue Sky, AppWorks, SoftBank Ventures Korea, Singtel Innov8 and Qualgro.

But CR has plans for an IPO next year. Not sure if it's the smartest move but will keep an eye out for this.

Also heard some rumours about a possible Topcashback Aussie launch in the near future.

      • Cashrewards IPO will be interesting for a couple reasons:

        1) We get to see their financials and growth rate
        2) Will make the sector a lot more mainstream, so might see a flood of users onto these sites esp. Cashrewards - the IPO could purely be an (expensive) publicity stunt with the bonus of raising money.

  • Rep, can we refer someone for the $5 and they get the $11 through the link you posted?

    • Unfortunately no these sign up offers cannot be combined. It's one or the other.

  • With Groupon is it possible to use Groupon store credit, with a credit card to make a purchase.

And be qualified for cash back?

    • Yes.

  • Would a purchase from hey you count? Considering it's at a 100% cashback right now?

    • +2

It will count. Mentioned in the original post description. Check.

    • +1

Sorry forgot to add this in the post which was already on the special pages: Bonuses associated with rejected cashback transactions will also be voided.

Cashback is not applicable to purchases on Amazon.com, only Amazon.com.au. Also gift cards are excluded from cashback so maybe a pantry item through Prime might be better :)

      • Too late. Already purchased :(

      • Tim tams $1.82 at Amazon AU! Great suggestion :)

Edit: just noticed the minimum order :(

  • This is WAR! So, a 100% Hey You Cashback stacked with $2 Bonus Cashback. Cool!

  • +2

Hi Rep, I will have a large amount of Amazon Credit due to returning an item, are purchases from Amazon balance eligible for cashback?

    • +4

Yes, credit is treated as a gift card balance.

Cashback is only payable on order value (excludes taxes, shipping and packaging costs) and as of 6th May 2019, is valid on orders paid for with gift cards

  • Thank you shopback.this is really generous

  • What to buy 🤔

  • Hey rep, I wanted to confirm; I can see 9% cashback on MYER purchases, but in the T&C, it says no purchase of/AND USE OF gift cards?

So, I can't use my birthday gift card on my purchase and get 9% CB? :(

    • You answered your own question :)

    • Correct, you've answered your own question :)

      • Does this apply with groupon store credit, from Groupon refunds? Part of transaction will be paid in cash, part store credit. Is store credit deemed the same thing as Promo code/gift cards?

Will $2 + 20% cashback be available in this scenario?

        • +1

Groupon store credit is not equivalent to a code or gift card so yes it'll be available.

          • @gotyourback: Awesome, thanks! Was just asking because I saw your above reply on Amazon credit being treated like Gift Card balance/gift cards.

  • +2

    https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/bestsellers/grocery/ref=zg_bs_n…

Plenty of easy spends between $1 - $2 at better than Supermarket if Prime .

  • I just created a shopback account to try this out.
When I clicked on the activate button, I got a message saying something like "awesome, <password>! your deal is activated". Might want to fix that.

Edit: it's also when I click on any store page. "awesome, <password>! you're on your way to 12% cashback".

    • +9

Sounds like you put your password into the name field upon sign up. You can head over to your account settings to update the name associated with your account.

      • +4

I tried again and I think you're right. Apologies.

      • @gotyourback If you buy multiple items eg in my case 10 at Myers and return 2 . Do you forfeit the entire cashback or pro rata ?

Is that the same policy for all SB stores ?

        • +1

The entire cashback is forfeited and applies to almost all stores. ICONIC is one where it appears to occur on a pro rata basis.

          • +1

@gotyourback: Ok , thanks I have to figure out whether to keep the damage goods is better or not . Can also do smaller orders too :)

    • +1

Perhaps your username is <password> 🤔

    • +1

Would you mind sending through a copy of the URL for research purposes?

  • Thanks SB, Got Popcorn for free :)

  • how do i get the $11 bonus?

  • you guys (SHOPBACK) are killing it! keep up the good work.

  • +1

Excludes purchases from Woolworths Gift Cards.

    noooo :(

  • +2

I bought a $2 jar of Pasta sauce. Thanks Shopback.

  • Awesome, thanks OP.

"Bonuses associated with rejected cashback transactions will also be voided."

^ Can I please confirm that the above means - "If I use a coupon code for a purchase (that is not listed on Shopback) from an affiliated vendor, I will not get the $2 bonus"?

I just noticed the EXTRA20 code on sale items for PUMA.com.au and was wondering if that would stack?

    • Yes that's correct. Unfortunately the 20% code isn't an approved code to use on ShopBack either. If you like, you can still click through ShopBack to make the purchase because you might get lucky if the store decides to approve your order later down the track, but if you wanted to be on the safe side, then maybe place a second order at a different store as well.

  • Didn't get the $2 from the last deal. Contacted support yet no response.

    • Could you PM me your SB registered email address so I can follow up?

      • Done thanks

    • Same here with me.

Maybe Shopback have grown too fast but I think they need to get their service in order.

Abandoned chat sessions, emails not responded to, no reply to OzBargain message.

      It looks disorganised to me.

Not sure I would be comfortable with a big purchase through them.

  • If i use a referral, can I get the $5 as well as the $11 bonus for a new account? I've been holding off creating a new account

    • These can't be stacked unfortunately. You can only sign up for the $5 referral or for the $11 bonus.

  • @gotyourback Would I still get this $2 if I use my gift card balance (from a canceled order) to pay on Amazon AU?

    • +1

      Please see here.

      • @gotyourback So, yes or no as of Jun 25, 2019?
Got a screenshot showing order total as $0.00

        • +1

          Yes, go for it!

  • Love this deal with Amazon Prime. Get hand soap for $1.74 paid with credit and will get $2 + .12 cents credit. Good stuff.

  • will we get shop back credit with click & collect??

    • Yes you'll earn cashback on your order regardless of choosing click & collect or delivery.

  • Mine says only $1 after I have clicked through the link. Anybody else get the same?

    • Thanks for flagging this. I see what you mean, it's fixed now. You can ignore that as you'll get $2.

  • Are you going to up your referral deal to $10 for referer and $10 for new member?

    • I noticed cash rewards has this at the moment and want to introduce my friends to the life of saving
