Hey You only charges fees on transactions where you pay as you go. You can avoid this by manually topping up your credit balance, although it's a minimum $30 top up each time.

The answer is in the negative even for previous posts, however my earlier transaction paid using referral credits / signup credits was tracked and confirmed too. I got the 100% cashback ($4.00) for the previous one.
Cashback will track, however if it's credit from sign up/referral bonuses then it would be rejected later down the track.

Thanks OP! Regarding your comment about ShopBack vs CASHREWARDS, I generally find ShopBack takes longer to confirm the cashbacks. I’ve got more than $70 in pending with some dating back to last August and only around $6 confirmed, meaning I still cannot withdraw any money from it yet.
Unless it's for a travel merchant validation only takes place after you've completed your stay/flights. If it's not a travel merchant could you let me know what transactions are still pending since August last year (just send me a PM with your account email address + transaction details)?

If you click on the drop down arrow associated with the bonus is there anything without a tick? Sounds like you'll need to add in withdrawal details if there's something not ticked.

There's no mention of the $4 cap in the terms and conditions, or on the cashback page of the Shopback app.
Lately im starting to doubt that shopback is better than cashrewards. Tempted to go back to using cashrewards.
I just bought a $2550 laptop with the 12% cashback from Dell and it did not track at all. I recently booked for accommodation from Agoda amounting to $1.3k and had no issues with ShopBack's cash back. Wasn't a fan of ShopBack when they just started here in Australia (lots of issues tracking and unattractive deals) but they have improved a lot since then.
My experience is the opposite. I bought an approx $1000 appliance through CashRewards which did track yet was not approved. Long delays in responses and it was me that had to initiate the follow up after weeks of no response.
If buying stuffs or services from overseas retailers, try to use Ebates. They're do much bigger and bettrr than CR or SB in many ways.

If I buy a Coffee at Only Cafe, I already have a free coffee remaining, so it shows up as $0.00 in the total amount and I get the coffee for free. However, the Coffee cost is still $4.00.
For such a case, would I get $4.00 Cashback or I would not get anything? It mostly points to the latter, but worth asking, I'm gullible!

Ok can’t remember exactly what it said on the app notification but I remember thinking after reading that you can’t get a meal for $4! Just found in the ‘Don’t Miss Out’ section of the app that it mentions the $4 cap and also says “Coffee, brekky and lunch sorted!” so it’s possible that’s what the notification said and I misread it however I’ve now wasted this much time looking into it coz I could’ve sworn it mentioned meals 🙄

ShopBack can't be trusted; some of my transactions weren't honored as per stated; perhaps isolated incident but this one here, supposedly $2 cashback but i get merely 21 cents. watch out! that's all am saying.

You should get two payments - one for the purchase and one for the bonus. I suspect the 21c is the first payment and you didn't receive the second.

yes, this was advised by the rep and I now understand that there's 2 parts of it. though, I'm still confused as to why the second one wasn't automatically honored by the system. don't get me wrong, this is now fixed and all good .. but just for my understanding, was it a glitch or was it something that I need to constantly follow up for my future transactions if the so called bonus isn't honored.
Can you use this offer to earn infinite credit card points? Bonus profit if you buy something packaged / in a bottle and sell them later.
The T&C's allow them to refuse cashback if you try to "game the cashback system". They don't explain what they mean by that but I wouldn't be surprised if they applied it to that scenario.

I know the OP posted that and I know that's been the case previously but there's nothing in the T&Cs about it and only one of my multiple orders has tracked.
you will never know until few days after; this is the biggest problem. so you think you've met all the cashback requirements hence you made a purchase of 10 x $4 transactions, expecting in 2 days time that you'll get $40 in your cashback wallet, but you get nil. even the simplest mistake as "I was 100% sure I went to HeyYou app via ShopBack app" but in fact, you didn't.
