I believe this is the cheapest ever, but only available for anyone has minimum 2,000 Qantas Poins.
Great sound bar from Bose. For me, it is superb for music, and great for movies.

What does that mean? You pay 774 then get 2000 points + 1548?
You spend 2000 points and pay $774, in return you ger sound bar and 1548 points, so you actually lose only 452 points.
Gotcha..
Edit - beaten to it.
How this comparing with sonos beam?
The Bose soundbar is a much better standalone product and can get away with doing the job on its own, I found the Sonos Beam is really lacking without the subwoofer add on.
I own the 700 and personally think you will need to buy a sub as well. The soundbar by itself is too bright
I bought this from Ebay 700 soundbar + Bass Module
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Bose-Soundbar-700-Bass-Module-70…
for $1486 + $35 Delivery
Forgot to put the code PYLON
That's a great price though no longer available.
You can use this deal to get $500 off from JB HiFi

Have read about HDMI arc issues with this soundbar plus setup issues. Anyone with first hand experience?
Connectivity to the app is unreliable for me (S10). A lot of mucking around to get it setup and every time I go back into the app it seems to have dropped the connection and I have to start again. The programming function of the remote is extremely basic and there is no learning function. Your TV is likely to be listed but remote functions will be limited to on/off, channels, volume etc, you wont be able to access Smart TV, Netflix, YouTube etc if your existing remote has buttons for these.
updated app fixed it
Sorry could you clarify? Fixed the setup issues or the hdmi arc connectivity. Some people say the bar will just suddenly lose hdmi arc connection and then you either have to reset the whole system or it won't connect at all which then leaves you with optical connection only which sorta defeats the purpose…
After using it for few days, I can say I initially had couple of issues connecting to my LG tv but took me 20 odd minutes to figure out solution (Pretty much google the issue and you will have a solution). Since first day I didn't had any connectivity issues.
Are you talking about making a connection via hdmi arc? How did you resolve it?
Off advance CEC from bose music app.
Remove all HDMI cables from TV.
Power off both Bose and TV and unplug the cable for both.
Wait for 1 min.
Plug the cables back power and HDMI only the arc cable at this point.
On the CEC from bose music app.
Connect the sound from TV to bose.
Make sure you have selected TV from the bose remote.
Hope this helps.
@DesiBoy: Thanks for describing this procedure. I hope this helps others having this same issue.
It would also earn you 1548 points in return
