Kaohsiung is the new Taipei.

These have a long stop in Singapore en route. Changi Airport is a pretty good place for a layover though. You could go on a free city tour, for example, or if you'd prefer to relax there are hotels right in the terminal building. Note that even though some legs may be operated by Scoot, but these are sold as full-service fares from Singapore Airlines.
