  • Thanks - small enough to keep on keys and take anywhere :)

    • Hey guys, i was not unable to buy 5 but 4 at total of 5.50. That's weird, anyone encounter the same problem as me?

  • +2

I don't think there is any out there as cheap as this

  • +5

    nice
they have an 8 gig one for 15 bucks
    thats not bad (5.50)
and a 16 gig one for 29 bucks (thats 15 bucks)

  • +1

Awesome deal. That's less than one 4 gig usb costs on ebay . Been looking forever for a deal like this.

  • Shame they don't ship to QLD. Oh well, hope my dad is willing to forward the 5 sticks I just ordered for his address.

Edit: Hope that's not a really large paper clip used as a size reference in the pic.

  • staples you little beauty!

  • any got any more codes

    • just create another account, under a hotmail or something if you dont have one.

      • tempted….. hmmmm

  • thanks op for this great deal : )

they don't ship to WA :(

  • Awesome !! Bought 5

  • 50 DVDRs for $5.50 using same game vouchers.
    Not sure about quality though.

    • Any difference between the DVD-R and DVD+R? I always buy DVD-R, so not sure if DVD+R works the same as DVD-R.

      • +1

        works the same

      • Some standalone DVD recorders (the ones you connect to a TV) require one type or the other. If you are using these in a PC, then it doesn't really matter.

    • After 20+ brands, close to 1000 discs, I'll never use anything but TaiyoYuden. If it's throw-away stuff you're burning, and the discs are CHEAP, it's still not worth the effort. I'd use these GAME20 coupons etc. on stuff like USB/HDD storage, or something like that. CD/DVD is something I take seriously. Embarassing & heartwrenching when discs start failing after just a few months.

  • great!

  • Thanks, they will make good presents at $1.10 each.

They still have some gremlins in their system. When I clicked on Print Order it displayed my previous order for the 1TB external disk. :)

  • nice one! now I've used all three coupon.

  • 357 clicks and 31 +ve votes in 34 min, man, you guys are fast.

  • is it only specific suburbs $5.50 or all? my delivery comes up at $11 for the 5.

    • VIC or NSW?

      • nsw. wollongong area

        • I think we are considered regional down here hence the higher $11. Still a joke that they can deliver from Sydney to Vic or SA for cheaper :S

    • I think it depends on your postcode, whether its regional or metro, metro is $5.50 and regional is $11 it think, see the shipping cost links there.

      • They use Star Track Express which must categorize suburbs as Metro/Regional/Country differently than Australia Post.

  • WOW no shipping to QLD? yet they ship to Tasmania… its not like we are on another island…

    • +1

      Well, not now anyway…

    • +1

I know, what the hell. What a bunch of mo-fo's.

  • dayummmmm, staples is about to the learn the meaning of ozbargained

    • +2

Im guessing they learnt it a while ago =] Around the time they first released the coupons.

  • Thanks! Just got myself 5 :)

  • I can't believe these codes still work

  • +1

just got 5 for myself..thanks op

    • +6

I for one appreciated the OP pointing out that particular deal. Cheap enough on its own ($4) to definitely qualify as a bargain!

    • Maybe, but it's a bargain because this item was reduced to the point where one can get it very cheap by using a code. Even without the code, $4 is a great price.

    • So then suggest some!

        • +2

Except somethings are so heavily overpriced even with the $20 it's still not cheap.

    • +8

JV - not true the 4gb is $4, as advised in heading. Poster just reminds others that you can save more by using the codes. Negative removed by member votes

The text says you can buy 5 for $5.50 if you use the code. Which is a bonus.

Issue is that are people voting on the $4 deal or the 5 for $5.50, if its the latter then they are voting wrong, but we cant tell that.

      • If it is a good deal without the voucher and a good deal in itself OP should add postage of $5.50 and the states it isn't available within

      • +7

rather than a neg - there should be a "slap" button just for JV

        • +7

He'd enjoy it too much :S

    • +1

jv - I feel your pain. Deals very similiar to this have been available for weeks with the staples codes. All you have to do is have the initative to look for them. Bring on the negs..

    • +1

HAHA jv stop trying to hard

  • i cant make my mind to choose between 5x4gb for $5.50 or 1x16gb for $15.90,anyone? help?

  • Great deal! Bought one along with the $15 8g one.

Just a shame this didn't turn up LAST WEEK when I bought a $20 4g drive (also from staples using a code of course!)

  • thanks! bought 5x 4gb usb and 1x SDHC card 8gb :)

    • +5

Would that SDHC card be for a new Optus Mytab per-chance? :)

    • I must be blind because the only micro SDHC card I see on there is a 4Gb one!?

  • Just bought 5 =D

  • i will get 5x4gb 1st and then use another coupon to buy the 16gb one.

  • just grabbed 5 thanks OP

  • +3

Bought 2. I have no idea what I would do with 5.

  • +1

It's staples and includes the $20 off voucher! +1 haha.

  • tempting but I don't really need more storage devices

    • +1

Just because they don't post to your area doesn't mean its not a bargain

    • +1

      I agree

  • umm where do you put the code in? like the coupon

    • In checkout, under the heading 'Promotional offers'

  • 20gb for 5.50? Thats 27.5 cents per gb! Insane!

  • EDIT found.

  • Sweet. Made 3 orders. 4x4gb, 8GB + 4GB, 16GB. Spent around $25 all up.

  • +1

I now own 5 USB sticks, when all I really needed was 1. Oh, the power of a bargain!

  • wow!! 8gb is $45!!!
i got my 8gb for around $20-30… 2-3 yrs ago.

    same size, same brand…

  • Got it, thanks. OFF20 didn't work for me even though I never used it. Used SAVE20

  • +1

At $1.10 ea they are good value :)

  • +1

I can't believe I wasted my codes on the overpriced snacks and drinks. Is there any other codes in circulation?

      • +4

Did people not learn from the Gameplus $10 free credit promo a while back ago?
If you do that, dont ever expect to see any generous credits/promo's like this ever again. Youre ruining it for everyone in the long run!

      • +1

        give everyone a chance!

      • +1

        Sounds like a plan.

  • +1

Purchased the 5 sticks for $11, due to living in a regional area.
    Still, a great bargain - thanks :)

    • umm… u can actually get 10 sticks for $11, just separate the payment?

      • +1

due to living in a regional area

Double shipping to regional (and apparently Tasmania too)

  • +1

I'm hoping they didn't oversell it!

    • +3

    maybe 1 for gf hahahaha!

    na jk jk :P

  • Actually, turns out I did use the OFF20 code the same night I got my first order, but I must of forgot to process the cart? Cos there's no mention of it on my CC statement, fark.

  • Nice first post!

I wouldn't be surprised if this deal goes Triple Platinum (300+) if the stock levels hold up!

  • +3

great deal lol. now to glue them together to make a $5.50 25gb stick…
    MUHAHAHAHAHA
