Not sure how long this will last, but apparently you can get a Razer Phone for 1 cent?? First post sorry if it's expired by the time I posted

Edit: Fixed to the normal price of $1248 now

We have recently identified that due to a technical error you would have seen and ordered the Razer Phone 2 handset for $0.01 on our website. Our standard price for the Razer Phone 2 handset is $1,248 which was advertised correctly on other parts of the Optus website.
We're sorry this happened and have fixed the technical error. We have cancelled your Razer Phone 2 handset order and will be refunding your payment. Please allow up to 5 business days for this refund.
If you have any questions, you can contact us 1300 132 208 Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm AEST.

      A business advertised an item for sale and many faithful customers ordered it in good will then the business failed to deliver said item!!
      If that aint grounds for a class action I sure don't know what is!!

        Were you a faithful customer though? You were attempting to get a phone that probably cost them a few hundred dollars wholesale for a single cent.

        Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to see you get it, but you weren't being a faithful customer in this case, you were being an opportunistic bargain hunter hoping for a long-odds price error miracle.

      * basically they said nothing about it being a price error (?????????????) - I kept on questioning why it was cancelled and they said they'd look into it for me
      * that the applications for the phones are 'pending cancellation'
      I spent more time on hold than actually talking to a person
      I requested a summary to be sent to me via email since the person was speaking about 500 words per minute and will post it here when (if) I receive it.

      Sorry that's all I got, ill give them another call later haha

      It was $1248 on the Outright phones page, but then $0.01 on the actual product page when this deal went live, so their claim is correct that it was advertised at a higher price on other parts of the site.

      I got a screenshot of the product page showing price, URL, etc.
      here is the product page both on a phone and a laptop as a screenshot.
      I still have the original webpage loaded up on one of my laptops so I can pull that up if needed. Plus a video on my phone showing the URL.

      Why I did this? No idea.

    Has anybody who has a contract with optus got a cancellation email? My partner with telstra got one but i never did… order number still says invalid. Never expected to get the phone but worth the 1c

    Well it was fun messing with Optus, time to move on. Sorry about the inevitable outcome to those of you who believe you're entitled to the phone and are taking it further, I hope it helps you get closure. I look forward to riding the next clear pricing error where there's no chance of getting the item, fingers crossed it's one of the stores that give vouchers.

      I had some hope that Optus might honour the price for those willing to contract on a new plan. I doubt many would have taken them up, but it would have been a positive gesture.

      Not really mad at them. Honestly, I was hoping this was not a jump scare and dilemma for them than anything else. I don't think they deserve to be out of pocket for it.
