Received order within 10 minutes. Impressive. However my delivery fee was $6.45 and I live 4 minutes drive down the road but still alright nonetheless.
Considering that means an 8 minutes drive and a two minute pick up/drop off. Under $40 an hour and Uber take 20%, that is a more then acceptable delivery fee.

Made my order at 10:35pm and when I checked again at 11:46pm I realized I got charged and Uber Eats said it had been delivered around 11:23pm by a "Lovi" (surname omitted).
I left my mobile no. in the delivery instructions just in case but guess the driver had been way too busy!
Lucky I didn't wait for the order and grabbed a bite.

Upon checking, it appears the delivery partner arrived at 11:16 PM, called the number registered to this account at 11:17 PM, and completed the order at 11:23 PM after waiting. As a result, we will be unable to refund this order.

I have got this email too, same code. But I am hesitant to apply it. McDonald's seems to have free meals promotions every night of Australia's cricket matches. But then both these promos won't stack, right? So to have the Free Delivery Promocode used, will have to PAY $10 and above (says the T&C).

A temporary hold of $ was placed on your payment method **** at the start of the trip. This is not a charge and has or will be removed. It should disappear from your bank statement shortly.
