The deal that I've been waiting for! Based on previous ebay UK sitewide deals, this should work for Paypal gift cards.

Valid from 12:00 PM Friday 14 June 2019 (9pm AEST) to 11:59Pm, Saturday 15 June 2019 (** 16/6 8.59am AEST**).

Minimum spend A$91.79, maximum discount A$183.59. One redemption only!

* eBay gift cards
* Woolworths WISH gift card / WISH Gift Card
* All PayPal digital gift cards. Change the .com.au to .co.uk.

PayPal Digital Gifts eBay is now marked as away and can't process orders.**

All other items - find the item on eBay.com.au and change the .com.au to .co.uk.

      Are you signing into your PayPal then having it greyed out? For me I had to verify my card on PayPal as the transaction limit is $500 when I was trying to buy more. It worked otherwise but still waiting on gift card delivery.

          One of my extra accounts was suspended, still no codes from either. However my dads account (which was created afterwoods) has already received his account.

          My advice would be too don't be too greedy, wait till a set of codes arrive before creating another account.

    I tried several times and found that even though I could get the coupon working with 5200 + 4200, I couldn't pay either using paypal or credit card. I then reduced the amount to 5 cards * 200 and paid using successfully. Then I registered another account and bought another 5*200 cards straight away. This time no problem at all.

    Managed to make it work after few unsuccessful attempts, short cut methods didn’t work

    Created new e-mail account,
    First gave UK address at signup with OZ number
    Later changed to OZ address as primary delivery address
    Bought $200 gift card, transaction was successful, waiting for e-mail confirmation

    Now i am locked with ebay, will end up buying stuff which I might not need

      You say "later changed to Aus address,but did you actually change your registration address? Or just added a Primary address.

      I've tried everything including changing my Reg address to Aus and then back again as nothing worked

      Best I can get to is the "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again" as others have said earlier

      I signed up new account successfully with UK address and oz number added primary oz address, checkout is happy with code, PayPal is fine but after clicking final purchase button it never works but it keeps adding a new order to my account every time

              @nismo: Verify your card on PayPal so you can increase your card limit. Login to PayPal, click on your card and see if there is a verify option. It’ll do the small $2 charge with a code in the transaction to verify your account.

              This fixed my issue and I was able to buy the cards right after this last hurdle.

    I bought some Woolies gift cards but my Ebay account just got suspended and the payment is showing in paypal. Does anyone know what happens now? Does a refund automatically happen or do I have to follow up with PayPal/credit card?

      you have a good chance for paypal giftcards to send them to your email, give it an hour or two!
      Ebay and them dont communicate quick enough! so still a good chance of the order being fulfilled!

      eBay AU gift cards cannot be used to purchase any gift cards and are only valid for use on eBay AU site.

    I tried $1000 (5 x $200) and I kept getting the account limit message. I tried two different PayPal accounts - one just returned to checkout on the Credit Card option but the other one worked but then got the account limit message. I tried linking one of my PayPal accounts to the ebay account but that made no difference.
    I kept trying lower amounts until I got to $600 then my account got suspended / blocked! Interestingly the email about the account being suspended came from customerhelp_au at ebay.com.

    Okay just ordered 5x$50 + 5x$100 + 5x$100 wish gift cards on 3 ebay uk accounts I created since the last deal. Paid using the one PP account. Let's see how many get auto-refunded this time around. A little bit annoying that Dan Murphys/BSW/Big W listings don't have the $250 denomination anymore.

    Oh and I also clicked out of Topcashback UK for 3% cashback. But it probably won't work since this is a gift card. Although in the T&Cs it says "Cashback will not be paid on the purchases of eBay giftcards". Not sure if it's specific to just eBay giftcards. But it's probably to the whole category tbh.

    Anyway, if anyone else is ordering other items besides gift cards, don't forget to click out of Topcashback UK!

    Can't check out with ebay gift card. comes with warning"To buy a gift card, you need an eBay and PayPal account".

    Here are the steps I did to make it work…
    * create new account in eBay uk
    * re-login eBay UK to get the prompt to add address and mobile. Add uk address and au mobile
    * once login, go to account details and link my PayPal account to the new eBay account. (This is to overcome "To buy a gift card, you need an eBay and PayPal account" error)
    * in eBay UK, add primary address in Australia.
    * purchase as per normal.
