Yea pretty much all cards that have a "interest free" peroid have a annual fee.
meh, my bankwest zero has zero annual fee and zero interest for up to 55 days… and they are backed by CBA.
(no reward points though)
nothing to see here, move along…
i have had the platinum for a few months and the points are coming along quite nicely
i wouldnt be so quick to dismiss
"bankwest […] are backed by CBA"
link?
I'm using the CBA no annual fee credit card now.
i read a bit about this online this-morning - they say the fees and interest you get hit with make this card not very worth it..
not really great, there are much better cards out there.
I would only go for something like this if i had a number of other accounts with commbank. I no longer do.
one thing i miss about my commbank credit card was it's online visibility. very up to date, and provided lots of information.
I was thinking changing banks, but really liked the instant visibility on the netbank, I take it no other banks have that feature..? Looks like ill be staying with CBA for now then :(
I wouldn't say that no other banks have it…I am not that well informed. I have looked to smaller instutions to get a deal that better suits me.
i was with CBA and had four different accounts with them. I recently took out a mortgage with IMB who I am incredibly satisfied with so i decided to move all my accounts over to them. they don't have a dedicated credit card function, they outsource their credit card through citibank/cardservicesdirect who were attrocious to deal with, and their credit card online function was woeful. it took a week to see transactions, and you couldn't see an up to date balance. The features of the card were great on paper, and suited me to a T…but the online features just made it useless to me.
I have since cancelled that card and moved to a coles source card which suits my needs perfectly, and give me a really useful rewards program.
I do miss having all my accounts on the one online page, but this is saving me a lot of money so i can't complain.
commbank?
/me shivers in disgust
I wish the deal with Qantas Frequent Flyer was a little better. You have to pay an additional $10 per year to link your QFF account, and you only earn 0.5/0.75 QFF points per $1 spent on the MasterCard/American Express cards.
Is it possible to apply for one of these cards then cancel before the renewal/annual fee?
It is normal for a most of the Cr cards now. Is there a bargain?
