  This is an amazingly thin phone and very light. Software/User Interface takes a while to get used to, but some things are just impossible to work out (music, playlists and folders?). Non-standard headphone socket. Specs are ok. The red cover is very nice for those who love a bit redback spider action.

  It's sleek and slender at 9.3mm but with only:
  Internal Memory 55MB
  Card Slot Up to 2GB MicroSD
  there isn't room enough for many pictures and songs.

  Not such a bargain. It's 3G but UMTS 2100 MHz only. No good on enhanced Optus network that uses 900/2100. Battery life is low: 'up to 250 hours', or 2-3 days in real life. Finally, the phone was released 4 years ago. Spend your money on something better.

      On Saturday, I bought a locked Huawei U2800 from Optus in Hobart for $19. It's dual band 3G (900/2100), 19 day battery life on standby, has PC connection software built in, and works as a simple plug-in modem (384kbps). That's a better phone, I reckon.

  This phone was sold at DSE for $39 3 years ago.
