  • Damn that's a great price!

  • This Blu-ray too or just 4K?

    • -7

You can't have 4k without it being bluray also

      • +3

Think this contain 4K disc only, the cover did not state "+ BLU-RAY" like most other 4K's movie that come bundle with a Blu-ray disc.

        • thanking you

          • @Twisty: I bought it from the last deal. It comes with two discs running smoothly without 4k on my TV neither Blu-Ray player.

            • @fab boy: It’s it’s 4k ultra and 1080p Blu-ray ?

            • @fab boy: I didn't buy from last deal but the version I got only had 4k discs.

              • +1

@Pootie Tang: @Twisty I can check when I got home tonight.

              • @Pootie Tang: So just to clarify - if I don't have a UHD 4k player, can I still play these on a standard blu-ray player (eg. PS4)?

                Thanks

                • +1

@Adamiam: No - you need an XBOX one or UHD player.

                • +1

@Adamiam: You should be able to get the blu ray version for about the same cost though.

  • Thanks OP. Bought one and I haveb't even got a 4K TV yet!

    • +1

      Good buy :)
There are few more blu-rays by David Attenborough @ less than $10, in case you are interested.

    • do you have a uhd player? otherwise it may not work. grab an xbox one 😇

      • No, just building up a few titles before upgrading my aging Panasonic 65" plasma and BR player.

        • Get a xbox one s when time of upgrading, even in a full hd tv we can easily see the difference when a 4k source is played (especially 4k youtube videos).

          • @APN Adelaide: Totally agree. No 4K TV for me just yet but have an Xbox One X and can clearly see the difference with a 4K source.

I also have Atmos/DTS:X enabled surround so I still benefit from buying the 4K discs too.

            • @Slave1: @slave1
Not sure how Full HD tv can give out more crisper video, but every time i accidentally watch 4k video in youtube can easily tell the difference.
Ahh yes i am in a process of getting Atmos setup, do you have a sound bar or proper setup?

              • +1

@APN Adelaide: May be a placebo for me with the video quality but I certainly feel that the picture is sharper when watching 4K discs and 4K Netflix compared to regular blu rays and standard Netflix.

I have the Samsung HW-N950 Soundbar with rear speakers so kind of an in between setup. Very impressed with it in the 6 months i've had it.

This is showcase 4K picture quality!

  • +2

Thanks! Last time I ordered it was backordered then got cancelled, so glad to see it again!

    • Same here

  • +2

Looks amazing on a 4k projector or OLED = a must have. 4k streaming version looks really good too, but UHD discs are better.

    • +1

Agreed. When ppl ask why I spent so much on an oled i play this. They then understand.

      • I have yet to upgrade from my 7 year old 1080p Bravia but when I do, I’m going straight to an OLED for this reason.

  • Thanks OP. Now to sell and upgrade my OG xbox one so I can actually watch it

  • +1

This is also available in Stan 4k if you have it

    • +2

Streaming 4K does not even come close to actual 4K from a disc, in my experience.
We have about 50-60mbs, so speed is not an issue. But after trying one of the Amazon deal 4k discs I have now bought what ever deal I can get hold of, as the quality is that much better (for most movies) that I find it worth it- besides having Stan, Netflix and Prime.

    • Not the same quality though…well worth owning at this price as a demo disk, if nothing else

  • +1

    Looks like i missed it?

  • no stock.

  • +4

    I've got this on 4k.

Interestingly, clearly not all 4k is made equal. Some 4k movies are still pretty sharp, don't get me wrong. But there's not a huge amount difference between 4K and Blu-Ray.

BUT, when I put this disc in, holy …… moly …. This was insanely high quality. Blew me away quality wise.

  • Yeah managed to buy one and still on 1080p TV hahaha

  • +1

Bought this on regular Blu-ray and now have it on 4K! Glad I didn't finish watching 1080p either as I can now enjoy it on the LG 65" B8 :)

  • I ordered this on the last deal Amazon cancelled it saying they couldn't get it back in stock now they did……
