Most obscure bargain is still a bargain. Was at my local Coles but didn't see it. Found chapstik for 20 cents though.

Here's something that maybe people don't know…
You can BARGAIN for hot chickens at the end of the day at Coles / Woolies. Used to do it all the time whilst studying for HSC. $2 is usually all it takes for a whole BBQ chicken!

Bought a frozen crab from Woolworths for $2.40 reduced, expiry on the 11/6/11, ate it last night, after leaving it in the fridge for 2 days after purchased frozen.
it is always the idiots that get food poisoning. that's why i eat aldi brand 2 minute noodles - costs me 20c for lunch and i don't get any horrible bowel movements a few hours later.
Did you cook the crab again or eat it just defrosted (assuming it was cooked before it was frozen)?
josh has probably bought a cooked (frozen) blue swimmer crab, should of just given it a quick thaw when you planned to eat it, and then a quick steam to make sure its not frozen still (i wouldnt touch seafood thats been in someones fridge for 2 days
Yes it was cooked before it was frozen. I didn't cook the crab again.
Lesson learned.I've never bought frozen crab before.
