You were selling this for $9.90 - $10.99 through April and May, why is $12.71 in June a bargain ???

eBay is a battle field. To make the listing visible, strategy has to be "sell at below cost" at early beginning when listed it, then "broke even" and then "make small profit and then some profit". It's easy to see if it's a bargain, when it's at this price, and provided with free shipping via AUPOST with valid tracking. Thanks for your comment.

          haha. it explains everything…

        • For most of us, though, that doesn't mean we're too stupid to understand the explanation given.

@mickeyjuiceman: But for you, do you need it explained?
            Don’t worry, it’s irrelevant anyway…

reminds me of The Perfection on Netflix, the cello girls ;)

  • these all metal handle, if the knife attachment part breaks
it is harder to fix than a wooden handle clever..which tends to just get the wood part break rather than the knife part

  • $5 @ Kmart

    • I didn't know Kmart has cleaver. I am looking for one, which one do you recommend?

Earlier someone recommended not buying the Furi cleaver (about $60) as it is not worth that much

      • Local asian shop one

    • haha only it has stock…

Just FYI for those that care, it's more efficient(not in terms of cost) to have two cleavers in the kitchen. One for poultry and joints + one for general cutting veggies/meat etc. You want a heavier one with more blade width for cleaving so it holds the edge better and requires less energy from the user during the downward swing. You want a thinner and lighter blade that can be made sharper and will fatigue you less for general chopping / cutting.

Also slight variations in blade shape for weight distribution but meh, going into too many specifics now. Happy cleaving!
