    WOW !!!

No price jacking for a change…

  • oh damn I bought the WK500 for 220 last month :(

    • At least you didn't buy the WK220 for 500, the would really suck…

    • I got wk500 for 177….

      • I got mine at Mwave, where did you find 177?

    not the best res

  • Is this monitor any good for console gaming as well as pc/mac? ps4 pro/xb1x?

    • -1

No. Consoles can't output this resolution.

      • you can use it, you'll just have black bars on the left and right side.

        • -1

          Hence not good.

@Tacooo: It's not "not good". It's just like playing on a 24" normal monitor.

  • Also the favourite keyboard combo Logitech MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard & Mouse PN 920-008233 is also at $103.20 after 25.80 discount. may be good price.

    (x) doubt

    • sorry noob question, how to check this stats to pick a good monitor?

      • +3

It's still a decent (for the price) monitor, but there's no way it's HDR10, a lot of monitors just tack it on but there's no real certification so I could sell my microwave as HDR10 if I wanted.

6+2 bit just means the colours are not as good as a true 8 bit or 10 bit panel, 300 nits typical brightness is usually enough unless your monitor is reflecting the sun's glare.

This fellow ozzie Youtube channel does very critical reviews of HDR claims, you could search up prospective monitors on their reviews if you're REALLY looking for HDR. But in general the market's still too immature, it'll be a little hard to find one.

thanks mate, I looked through their channel, it looks like they have good review on Kogan 34" monitor.

I am trying to find a decent price for a 34" ultrawide monitor to be used with a laptop for home office purposes.

          Thanks for your info.

@StephenAo168: yep, that's a great bang for buck monitor, I've been using a variant from the same OEM for 3 years with a calibrated profile.

  • If this can overclock to 100hz on DVI I'll bite :D

    • it doesn't have DVI, so probs not.

      • Oh woops thanks! Display Port though so maybe it will OC…. hrrm I cannot see any results searching so far though

  • Does anyone use one of the ultra wide monitors in an office environment for spreadsheets?
    Just wondering how everything scales.

    • -1

I used to and it was great. Two spreadsheets open side by side or email and a spreadsheet. It's definitely good for working.

  • Anyone know if it's possible for picture-by-picture? Where you split the screen into 2 different inputs
