  Hey this is a ridiculous question as I'm actually into technology. In an age of Netflix and bittorrent I only stream or download movies. Are these 4k versions on discs? Are they Blueray discs? And if so is normal Blueray lower quality?

    Blu-Ray is pretty much the only HD physical medium. Most are 1080p. You need a player that is compatiable with Blu-ray discs that are 4K, they have more layers or something and 4K video requires more processing power.
