I actually just picked up an Oztrail King Goanna chair from Enoggera Camping for $80. Best chair in the world.
I dot agree. I have the BigW ones, whey they were selling at 11 dollars. and they are quite cheap.
You get what you paid for.
it was $5… and whilst not the same chair, I'm very happy with it! It's got a 120kg weight limit and still going strong!

IMO BCF are the biggest ripoffs ever. Even Kathmandu and Specialized stores are cheaper than the poor service Fyshwick BCF I went to once
I has the same experience at BCF Fyshwick. Terrible service from staff that had no idea about the products they were selling.
I went to the Tuggeranong store and same thing…. for an 'expert' store the staff couldnt tell me anything (they were just reading the info off the side of the box, like I cant read myself!).
Agree, BCF service is average at best.
That said we have a couple of these chairs and they are light years ahead of your $5-$10-$15 jobs.
I used to ask myself "why pay $80 for a camp chair when I can get one at BigW for $5?" No way would I go back to a cheap-ass camp chair now.
These are very comfy and have noticeably better construction.
I bought a $5.95 chair from kmart a month back… same as BigW one… went fishing on the pier in Barwon Heads, was getting the seaweed off the hook when all of a sudden the wind picked up and the chair flew into the river and slowly sunk to the bottom!
what make this a bargain when bigw has something similar at $7?
