    The hut is currently screwing me over so I can't really give a positive.
    They screwed up my order, then told me my order was cancelled. Then to make sure I went into my account and manually cancelled the order as well.
    Sounds like overkill right?

    Nope, I receive an email 12 hours later saying that they dispatched one of the items. Which means they charged me for it. In fact charged me MORE for it than when I checked out.
    So I went to my account and there was no evidence of cancellation, completely wiped. I cancelled again and then wrote a really long complaint to customer service, explaining the situation and begging them to cancel the order in the meantime while things got worked out.

    No reply, until 3 hours later I get an email saying another item had been dispatched
    …….

    I am beyond pissed off because as long as they dispatch they can keep on charging me and I don't even want the order anymore.

      Same thing happened to me too and I'm also waiting for a reply.
      In the case that I don't get an email I'm checking my account on the site too.
      Is this the cost of adding Paypal? Lol.

        This is the case of, I ordered 4 clothing items. Both were 2 for 25 deals. Was 50 pounds but it came down to 43 or so with the coupon. For some reason their site placed truth or lies for xbox 360 in my shopping cart with no price and I couldn't remove it, even after logging out/in. Then they sent me an email saying one of the clothing items was suddenly discontinued and that my order had been cancelled.

        I went into my account and it wasn't cancelled, in fact they were charging me the same amount for 3 items (with one cancelled) as they were for 4, I think because of the 2 for 25 deal. On top of that, that truth or lies games was kept in my order but they were charging me extra for it now. Which is ok, I it was a mess where I was going to pay more for less than I ordered, but at least I could cancel it and start again.

        But they keep revoking my cancellation or something and not responding to my complaints. Every time they ship an item they get to charge me which is fun.

        The sucky thing is I am a regular customer of zavvi which they own and they still treat me like crap.

        Never again TheHut Group!

          Yeah and I'm pretty sure the crappy 'truth or lies' game is free with any order over 50 pounds.
          Just that when one item got deleted, that screwed up the whole thing and now you're actually paying for it.

          They also gave me a 'Failed Cancellation' because 'it is being prepared for dispatch.'
          Which is HILARIOUS since I've heard zavvi/thehut is one of the slowest UK sites when it came to shipping.
          Some say it took them a month or more to receive their item.

          Update: OH MY GOD. Just got an email: "Order Despatched". WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?!

          leonheart1, I'm not sure what their problem is.
          i seemed to receive despatch emails for every item yesterday, seemingly in response to my multiple cancel requests.
          Just before bed last night, the final two items were despatched. When I woke up, I looked at my email and they have sent me that same email every 2-3 hours all night, a total of 5 emails telling me exactly the same item has despatched. I really hate this website.

          Same here! This morning I received 5 emails (at different times) saying the same item has been dispatched!
          Maybe this is their way of mocking us since a 'Failed Cancellation' notice is not enough.

    Thehut is being very dodgy and cancelling peoples orders, i wouldnt reccomend buying any clothing from them at the moment.

      not only dodgy but it seems like their systems are screwy. so your order could charge you something ridiculous or randomly remove items and you're powerless.
      can only contact them through the customer service section on the website, no emails or phone numbers (at least I haven't found any) and they just ignore you. Worst part is that I have no record of what I've said to them so if it comes down to Paypal I have no proof to show.
