Thanks OP! I was just deciding on buying it on Fanatical until I saw this.

Same. Forgot about this but always wanted after seeing it reviewed on Good Game SP back in November 2017.

Outside of the usual 2 week cycle?

    • i think it is weekly now, not fortnightly.

Dauntless currently free as well as Stories Untold.

  • This might sound a bit "hipster" but im actually really liking epic games launcher. No user reviews and no achievements are currently making it completely inferior to steam, but the interface, download speeds, etc all feel about right. It feels like a good base, and with ten dollars off everything on top of sale prices, you can tell they're really in.

Plus unselfishly the developers are getting a lot more money. Which could be the difference between breaking bread, and making a profit for the developers on indie projects (such as hades).

I need those achievements, user reviews, though. Otherwise it just feels a bit hollow regardless.

Putting all the other shit to the side, they have a really nice looking store. It’s like steam before it became steam. They put effort into how every game is presented in their store and it’s not clogged down with trash.

Steam acknowledged that which is why they're redesigning the client to look a lot more modern. I have been using a skin for steam called 'Air' which makes it look very nice.

    • Its good but I hate how dark and unreadable the game library listing is in the Epic Launcher.

    Thanks. Grabbed.

    EPIC = TOXIC Co.

Buying out games that were kick-started, their platform has no reviews, basically throwing money around to try to undercut Steam. Epic bought out a co. that was providing anti-cheat to Steam's Proton….just all (profanity).

Competition is all well & good, unless their long-game is exclusivity (needing separate subscriptions for every platform).

  • Great little game - Enjoy

No Rime or reason why we shouldn't enjoy a free game.

    • Pondering whether I should give a negative vote; you know why :D

      • +1

I'm pundering whether I should continue or not.

  • Cool. Thank you for the deal
