Free shipping makes this a pretty tempting offer!

Yeah the Supercheap sales come along every couple of months for this oil…. but free shipping?!? Not bad, not bad at all. Well posted OP.

Pretty good for free shipping. Pity I still have like 15 litres left

    Looks at garage..

Currently have stocked 4 Bottles.. do I need more? Sure! :D

Ebay listing says 8 Available now.. Chop Chop! Won't last long

Also hoping these guys use AusPost so I can get the delivery redirected to a parcel locker for easier collection..

    • My oil order with them last was with Aus post. Probably depends on location. I’m in TAS

  • +1

They use Couriers Please which is the worst delivery company in my experience

    • Noo!! lol oh well, at least I know if I'm not home the local shops is the safe drop zone.. see how we go..

      • Got notification it's coming via Australia Post! Yes!!

Not great, but Fastway is much worse imo.

    • +3

Obviously you haven't experienced FASTWAY- they are the WORST!

    • I find them great.

Nothing like having a package picked up in the morning and delivered by the afternoon.

  • How do you dispose of used oil environmentally?

    • +4

return to supercheap auto they accept used oil and it gets sent off to a recycling plant

      https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/services/in-store-services…

      • Thanks for that. Never knew this existed. I use to dump used oil in the recycling bin and hope the recycling workers would sort it out.

    • You could try asking local workshops, some places accept used oil for recycling

    • +1

My local dump has a huge drum you poor it in.

      • Handling used oil can give you cancer, but shouldn't make you poor.

        • It will if you don't use ozbargain and pay full price. Or even worse pay someone else to do your oil changes.

Thanks OP, a bottle of this plus an oil filter came in just over $50, then paid with a 10% off eBay card. Beautiful.

    • Great idea, I just did the same

  • Wont ship to Murray Bridge :(

  • Just let you know the seller already jacked the price except the engine oil. Their website is cheaper than Ebay and you can get a $10 coupon when subscribe their news letter.

  • Castrol EDGE 5W-30 A3/B4 is suitable for use in automotive petrol and diesel engines where the manufacturer recommends an ACEA A3/B4, BMW Longlife – 01, VW 502 00/ 505 00, MB Approval 229.3, 229.5 or earlier specification 5W-40 lubricant.

This is not made for Japanese, Korean engines. Those like the use of dexos specification

    • Some of those oils are not 5W-30. So in those cases, it is unlikely to be suitable for use: Changing the spec of the oil is not advisable unless you are addressing verified wear issues and your engine is living on borrowed time, or you are racing/towing/doing something over the top.

  • Waiting for Australia Post to redirect my items to nearby parcel locker ,

Also this particular oil I've been using in mine and my wife's Cars for years, 2017 & 2019 Kia Cerato no issues.

  • Picked my parcel up today, apparently it would not fit in a parcel locker.. I've had boxes delivered in the same size this one was previously so just odd.. anyway got the item in the garage it goes :)
