Yep weird the ebay ad says what is in the box and doesn't list a dock but doesn't list or show a charger neither… Come on Dyson, get your act together and tell us what it comes with!
@PerthectDeal: My order, from the previous deal, arrived yesterday. It comes with the charger and the wall mount docking station (as Dyson support confirmed before the order), but didn't come with the cleaning kit. Waiting on Dyson to respond whether it's coming separately.
The package looks the same as the original v6 when it was the top model, except they have different colour for the plastic motor cover (the new one looks like not painted, so should show less scuff marks).
Happy, except for missing out on Woolies gift cards for even better price.
@Bobioso: Mine came in yesterday, it comes in two separate packages. The attachment just comes in a plain brown Dyson Box.
Startrack in their infinite wisdom thought it wouldn't be a great idea to leave it in my verandas, so sent the packages to two different LPOs >.>
I was the one who asked Dyson and had the reply.

A drawback with the earlier models is the battery life. Just 6 mins on max. Personally, I would pick a more recent model
Yep we have had the DC35 for years and it is great but 15 minutes (6 min high power) is almost just enough. High power mode rarely gets used as the suction is very good. Thinking should I go to the V6 that has an extra 5 mins or the V7. Think the accessories this comes with are almost $100 so this is an excellent deal if never had a cordless Dyson.

Yep we get around 20 min normal mode, don’t really need to use max power. Great unit for hard floors.

Did you order from dyson ebay or dyson.com.au? I ordered a v11 pro on monday from dyson.com.au and the order is still stuck in preparing and their support number has been pathetic (~40 min wait time)

Sounds like good deal. Not sure if V7 is any better.
V7 is better with bin empty mechanism redesigned (big difference here) and has post filter as well but with $90 more and less attachment (does not come with the complete cleaning kit).

I paid over $300 about 12 months ago for this V6 model Dyson and it didn't come with the attachment kit , these V6 Dyson's really suck …. in a good way .. even in std mode . As far as I'm concerned this is a great deal for a damn good vac which is quick and easy to use vac.
Loses sunction after 1 year of use. Have tried everything they suggested. This is after they had replaced it after I had it for 3 months. Will not buy this again.

With these specs on the V6, I have previously bought the similar on eBay for $120 which has exact same specs with charge time and longer lasting battery, still working to this day and charges Faster than this Dyson.
IMO some of these named brands need to stop selling their Name and sell the product to compete in a marketplace that is and has rapidly caught up to many of their products, IMSHO!
This is about the price I'd bite on something like this, but is it actually legit good though? What do people get done in 20mins? I like to think I have a pretty slick vacuuming routine with my bog standard wall plug unit. Why are these so popular these days? Just another cool gadget?

I'm gonna disagree with comparing a Dyson Vac to a mobile phone.
Mobile phones will lose support from both the App Store and Operating System in a matter of years, which will make that model worthless and not useful.
A vac on the otherhand, you can buy one, go live on a deserted island for 15 years and it will continue to work without needing to communicate to Dyson headquarters :)

Woolworths don't seem to have $100 gift cards, they seem to stock only $50 gift crad, yet promotion states that it is only valid for $100 gift cards to get 2000 points
When there's a deal on the cards often sell out (especially the $100 ones).
You don't really have any alternatives except to try other Woolies stores that may have received more cards (or didn't sell out).
I had a chat to the store manager at my local woolies and they can't do much about it unfortunately as the stock level isn't something they have control over in any real way.. (for gift cards).
Thanks just realised that you can buy any denomination cards and still get the bonus pts, got $250 cards and credited with 5000 points instantly.
