  • Specs looks impressive for the price. Let your ears be the judge for sound quality.

  • Yes but it's mono!

  • So it has bluetooth, does that mean you can connect BT headphones to it?

    • It probably works as a bluetooth receiver / speaker.

    • Wireless music transmission from smartphone or tablet
      It's a DAB+ Radio with 1W RMS Bluetooth Mono speaker function📻

      • Gah my ears.

        • Plugged into amp (stereo headphone out) it should sound as good as most DAB+ get… given the low bitrate of transmissions.
But no use for your BT headphones…

  • Being Medion trademark Aldi product (mainly released in Europe), it is usually better than most rebadged Bauhn trademarked Aldi product.

Quality of sound will be limited by low bitrate of DAB+ broadcast.

Check you receive DAB+ reception - mainly limited to capital cities.

  • As it is Technology, keep in mind that it will be locked up in that glass cage of Aldi's, and you will need to ask the Checkout staff to get you one.

    • 16 in the case at 5pm at local Aldi. Has not been a popular purchase today according to staff. Previous DAB+ radios & LG Stylus DAB+ phone were left on the shelf.

A small radio, so will be interesting if there are reports of how it sounds. Especially so as this is also a BT speaker.

This type of radio usually don't have much volume (suit small room with little noise) & drain battery fast. Have a few larger $9 Kmart & $10 Target ones from Deals.

If doesn't sell well, will likely be reduced to clear in a few weeks.

  • Hope this is better than my last aldi radio, was a medion, used a few times, now the antenna has just snapped off with no pressure at all, 3 days out of warranty
