15 month till you get points plus all the linking procedure puts me off a little.

  • Easy way to gt a heap of points , Im in from the last (January) offer. Points from Feb creditted March 25th ish.
My only gripe was that they dont count LPG towards your monthly spend so I have to use petrol for the first $150 of my month but the reward is worth it if you are grabbing QFF points.

    • Wtf, I haven't had any of my points credited…

Edit: It goes to business rewards. My bad…

      • Points from Feb creditted March 25th ish

The dates on the points are messed up - on the 25th of March, you need to look for a entry from Feb 1 for the regular points and bonus points are credited on another date.

My only gripe was that they dont count LPG towards

Interesting - from what I can tell toll (if you get a toll pass) do count towards the min spend, but they don't earn regular points.

  • Hows the price of petrol at Caltex compared to United?
I know Shell and BP are almost always more expensive than United

    • was $1.39 this morning in Donvale I think, for regular stuff

Woolworths owns and operates over 535 Caltex Woolworths co-branded sites that sell Caltex Fuels and accept StarCard.

Caltex Woolworths stores are usually among the cheapest (if using your 4c/l off), at least along my normal routes.

However, I find that the 7-Eleven appusually gives me at least 2c/l saving over the otherwise cheapest fuel. So at 250l/month = $5 a month saving.
So add the $2.95 / month account fee that's $8/month. 12 months thats $96. So $96 for 60000 QFF Points seems a good deal.

Mind you, it is only $150/month, so at $1.50/l that's 100l fuel a month, so less than 25l a week. So even as a moderate driver it seems definitely worth the deal.

  • Signed up to the previous deal when it was 50,000 pts. Good deal just takes a long time for the points to be credited. For eg, February gets credited on April 1, March on May 1 etc.

Still an easy 50,000 points for little work.

  • If there's more than one person on the ABN can you all sign up for the deal and get points?

  • Idk, 60,000 for $1800 worth of petrol plus $36 in fees.
Wouldn’t Woolworths be better? At least I get some consumables for free

$1800 worth of petrol you would be buying otherwise.
Even if you paid 8c more for petrol, then it is still $100 extra (based on $150/month), plus the $36 account fee. So $136 for 60,000 points.
Plus if you use Caltex Woolworths, that is an extra 1800 Woolworths points ($9), or 774 QFF Points.
Last I used them you could get a (one way) flight from Perth to Europe for 65k points. I've never seen the same flight for $127.

      • Are you saying If i went to a woolworths caltex I get 4cents starcard, 4 cents woolworths voucher and 4cents if I spend $5?

        • I wouldn't be able to use woolworths e giftcard.

          • @sunnyc: Depends on the fuel you buy. Note Starcard is only 4c for premium.
I was assuming 4c fuel voucher + 4c for instore shop.
If the starcard discount stacks on top of that, then even better.

            Regardless, it's still a cheap 60,000 points
