  I take it that these are "noise cancelling" in that you stick them inside the holes on the side of your head?

    Hi nortyjak, these earphones have Active Noise Cancellation technology - it is an electronic technology, whereby the device produces "anti-waves" to cancel out the ambient noise, which is picked up from a small microphone in the ear buds. It is more of electronics than physical mode of canceling the noise. Hope that helps.

          There's no way this is true.

          HBQ Q32 is the model. Pictures of the side of the box says noise reduction not noise canceling.

          Also these are monaural and not binaural.

  I'm having trouble decoding the IPX5 rating. Would these work ok for 10-15 minutes of swimming? I'd imagine that sitting in my ear while doing gentle laps would be less stressful than being blasted by water jets?

    Hi NiteMice, TrueFree+ is slightly dated as compared to this. This one is more recent. TrueFree+ is IPX4, this is IPX5. Also, not sure if TrueFree+ comes in a 1500mAh Battery Charging Case, which can be handy as a power bank.

    Correction:its $30. And try to get the black one. I've had connection issues with the white one, (which the seller replaced with a black one promptly upon reporting) bought 3 of these for the family. Working perfectly.

        Im not very fussy with earphones but i'd say this thing could be worth about $70 for the sound quality you get. The mic is sht though
