"This one is for the erm …ladies." - well you've come to the wrong place; the internet.

I am sorry I will go back to the kitchen and make a sammich.

  • so its… a foil lined paper bag?i don't get it. aren't there many foil lined paper bags that are easy(er) to get.
granted im a guy so i could be completely missing the point :)

    • Answer 1: No there are not many foil lined bags for this purpose.
Answer 2: "granted im a guy so i could be completely missing the point :)" - Enough said…

Alright I feel bad and will explain. I think this is for those travelling/camping situations. Things can get smelly and messy if left alone for a while without disposing. So yeah… sigh

      • what i meant was, you can find foil lined bags anywhere (ie chicken shops, packaging stores, some homeware stores etc).just cos you 'say' its for these circumstances, doesnt stop it from being what it is.

but its cheap, so fair enough, didnt actually go to check how much they were. but meh

edit: http://wholesale.wfplastic.com.au/kebab-bag-printed-tasty-do… lol (its 3 times cheaper btw XD)

        • Yes the sticky thing helps. Also its bad enough as it is. Do you really want to use a chicken shop bag? The whole point is its sealed. But I guess there is truth in the cost analysis you did as well but women want something a little more feminine and special you know?

Well luckily for me I can plan camping trips around such things and have never truly been in a situation where such a thing was needed (places are very female friendly lately). I guess it will be very handy for women in the Army(experience from Army cadets)

But recently we had a (not so) nice house guest who left a very nice present in our toilet bin…took us two days to figure out where the horrid smell came from after cleaning the toilet and ventilating. I could have sure given her one of these bags >=O (grumpy cos I had to take care of it.. nearly passed out)

I talk to much after 12…

        • kebab bag was a joke but fair enough

        • Kebab bags are a great suggestion - they raise the discreet factor even more :-)

should of posted this if you didnt want guys reading this

Have you ever been stuck in the embarrassing situation of not knowing where to dispose of your sanitary product? You may be at your boyfriend's house, out to lunch with your girlfriends or enjoying the outdoors where there are no disposal facilities. You don't want to flush your sanitary product as this can lead to costly plumbing repairs and is bad for the environment. So, what do you do?
Whether you're a teenager, a busy mum or high flying executive the answer is simple. PocoPouch disposal pouches are an exciting and essential new product for any independent woman. They are designed by a woman for women for the discreet disposal of feminine hygiene products including pads, tampons and condoms - where ever you are.

    or

Did you know that over 500kg of feminine hygiene products are flushed into our sewerage system and fragile waterways every day in Sydney alone? PocoPouch disposal pouches means no more flushing - and that's good news for the environment.

cos i was too curious, like wtf is a pocopouch? then I read you said "guys..look away now"…. yeah like that was gonna happen!

    • Whoops. I thought it was obvious let me add "this is about time of the month stuff"

This is what the net does to you. Curiosity killed the cat remember? I guess I am the last non curious person here (thinking about friends here as well)

PLUS I did paste "PocoPouch disposal pouches are an exciting and essential new product designed by a woman for women for the discreet disposal of feminine hygiene products including pads, tampons and condoms."

Not sure why the guys wouldn't be interested. I'm sure there are plenty of dads responsible for the shopping and care of their girls.

    • True Alice. I don't know. I guess some still cringe when talking about such things. You might as well have shown them Saw.

But yeah I agree with what you say. Next time I will not be so prude.

    • Or boyfriends trying to help their girlfriends with a current workplace disposal issue…

      • You do that? Wow commitment. But y u? + vote anyways.

      • ok I re-read what you said. Maybe your gf doesn't already have such an issue u help her with. You are just ordering one for her just in case? Is this correct?

If so…idn… just don't. I am sure she will like free jewellery and chapsticks available around here more. (just imagining how weird it will be if my bf ordered me something like this… it would be almost as insulting as if he bought me deodorant or something.)

        • Lol I'm under instruction to keep an eye out for pretty much exactly this.

The guys she works with aren't that comfortable with "them" being wrapped up in toilet paper and put in the bin or something like that anyway. It's my GF so it doesn't bother me in the slightest at home but I can see their point. Both being a workplace and not their GF, I'd probably feel the same in their position.

Emailed the link, leave it with her, job done.
The jewellery on here is a bit tacky sometime so I usually leave that but she loved the Maybelline lip balm freebie that was on here a while ago and the BYS lip gloss recently. Personal hygiene (like that) is crossing the line IMO.

  • Can't u just jam it in your handbag with the rest of your stuff, handbags are like Mary Poppins bag you can fit everything in there. :)

    • ew no. Would you put a used condom in your wallet like the rest of things.

      • certainly, then I wouldn't forget to wash it out when I got home so I can re-use it. I just try to do my part for the environment by recycling.

        • +3

I am sure you can teach such great sustainability lessons to the kids you have as well. ;-)

        • I sure can we all wash out the condoms together so everyone learns how to recycle. :)

      • recycle condoms? you are joking right? while you're at it, why don't you recycle used toilet paper/napkins/hankies/tissues etc some things you can re use, others, forget it!

        • Recycling is no joking matter. And toilet paper is hard to recycle and it's better for the environment to just use your hands than wash them afterwards. ;)

  • thanks for this sample/freebie

  • "This promotion has now been withdrawn due to sample availability and the overwhelming response we have received."

    • They must hate me.

  • OMG They do hate me.

    Found this on another site.

** Clarification: Withdraw of PocoPouch free sample promotion **

It has been bought to my attention that some people have become rather disappointed with us withdrawing our free samples offered on our website: www.pocopouch.com.au and beleive that we may have deliberately deceived people. I wanted to clarify some points that dispel any misconception people may have in regards to our offer:

    1. It's free advertising for pocopouch: This is true to a degree however, PocoPouch has never advertised any of our ‘promotions’ on any website except our own. All our customers are from word of mouth on the web. We advertise our ‘website’ on Google (try googling) and facebook only.

We had a substantial spike in requests because one person (thank you who ever you are in the nicest way ;-) ) posted a link to our free sample offer on a number of freebies websites and the promotion went viral. We cancelled the promotion on Sunday offering instead an opportunity to forward your name and email address to be notified of future promotions.

    1. Unlimited supply of samples: The reason for this withdraw is purely due to the inability to supply samples to the unprecedented number of requests we received. The terms and conditions clearly state that we have the right to withdraw any promotion at any time.

    2. The promotion was started over the weekend: Not true. This promotion started at the beginning of April 2011 with no intended end date. See point 2.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by withdrawing this offer however, we will be running promotions in the future. If you have any questions, regarding this or any other promotion we run, please email us.

    Thank you

Well done to the people who ordered one just cause it was a 'freebie'. Now none of us can have one, even for the right reasons..

  • Got mine today, it's so random. Looks like something that would hold a dimsim.
