  • These r some shit shelves, i bought 4 of them and regret it. You need a small spanner and low torque drill to put in the 50 nuts and bolts. My dad broke one of the shelves putting a cement bag on it aswell.

      User name checks out

But did you say to your dad “Can we fix it?”

Yeah, these are a real PITA to put together, the $9.99 Ikea is much better in that regard, but this one is actually much more versatile, get a few packs and you can combine them in all sorts of creative ways, as long as you don't try to test the 50 kg limit…

      • +1

Yep, very versatile. All sorts of shapes and have also made units one section higher than your supposed to. Very light loads so no big deal. Have also done back to back so double the width lol..

Bit of a PITA with all the screws but for the bargain price that's not such a huge hassle

      Yep. Never again

    • ive found using a 'screwdriver style' ratchet & matching socket + ordinary screwdriver is the easiest method of assembly
…but yeh still a bit of a pain in the arse to assemble

ikea one is always $9.99 and seems to be of a higher quality/which isnt saying much

    • IKEA has no adjustable shelving and appears to be worse!

    • 25kg per shelf for the Ikea one versus 50kg per shelf for the Bunnings one though.

      • 50kg is to much. no way it can hold 200kg with the shit chinese steel.

I have two of these i screwed to the aide of my shead to stablise them. They are easy to put together with a drill with torque settings.

  • As said above, it's takes time to put this together because of nuts and bolts.
Finished product is wobbly. But even out after some weight on it over time. Need to be careful to not get injuries while building this. Has a few sharp edges and due to being wobbly watch out for poking you.
    Decent quality.

Ikea one has tekscrews. So easier build if you use a drill as a screw driver. Better quality than the Bunnings one.

I quite like these. Have three of them that I've bolted together in the kitchen for storing pots and pans. Works well, and actually looks good with a cement / industrial look. For $10 they're a bargain. Things to note are - pain to set up, just a crap load of bolts, quite flimsy (until finished, then they're fine)

If you need a lot of cheap shelves these are unbeatable really. The benefit of these ones over the ikea ones is the modularity. You can make a 5 tier shelf from 1.5 packs. Great for the garage imo.

  • We have four of these in our gardening shed, I found that bolting them together in pairs made a huge difference to the stability/rigidity. I think they are great for the price but I wouldn’t be tempted to buy more and use them in the garage/house.

  • Terrible quality and painful to assemble.

  • Buy some rigger's gloves for assembling if you buy one of these. Cut myself when I did one, not buying any more as there is much better quality shelves out there

    • hahaha buy some glove that cost more than the shelves to assemble the shelves hahaha
      Ironic isn't it
