    • How did you did it? I've signed up to a second family account with a different email but when i go to claim another mini it says "Unfortunately, we couldn't add that to your cart. There are limits on how many you can buy."

    Just bought a reddit code for $4usd ($5.95aud) as per instructions earlier in this thread.

    I made a balls up of ordering the family plan as a new user but on the plus side I now have a free month of Spotify Premium.

    Code paid for, emailed and Home mini ordered all within 5 minutes…

  • I managed to buy another just now by using a 1 month premium spotify trial code I won through Victoria Bitter. I just upgraded to premium but can't see any charge on my bank statement online and I also checked out as a guest through the google store and used a different email and credit card. Order confirmed and says "We’ll get started on your order. You’ll see a temporary authorisation hold on your account for this order, but you won’t be charged for an item until it is dispatched. When it does, you’ll get a delivery confirmation email"

                @bestbarginever: Nope, I've contacted live chat support and they said deal is still active but they're facing huge amounts of orders so just register interest and wait for an email telling you to proceed

    Second order from 3/5/19 just got dispatched. Used the same name and address from my first order, only changed payment methods and a different email.

    • if you use same payment method would they cancel first and second orders or just second order? (both orders still confirmed but not dispatched)

      • If the orders have been confirmed then i think you should be fine

    Yay, mines finally delivered today!

    Now, to get Alexa and Google to somehow ask each other questions in a never-ending loop.

    I signed up to Spotify successfully then got the email to claim my google home mini. So I opened the link in the email, went to the checkout, full discount came off, completed the transaction and the order was completed. Then I get an email from Google about 30 minutes later saying my order was cancelled "We had to cancel your order because we were unable to validate some of your information." So I contacted Google asking why it was cancelled and got this response:

    "For your query regarding the order cancellation, we don't have any additional information to share and we are unable to provide a new code. If there is any new information regarding your order, you will receive an email with instructions."

    This is very strange. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

      WTH what a weird reply to send… if they cancel the order, should be able to say why at least

      • Nope, they do not. Even after talking to the google support - takes days to get response, and the response basically says "I can't tell you wy it got cancelled, you should have received an email. I can't help you"

      most of those cancellations would seem to be due to multiple claims getting detected

    • I got the same. No good news. Spent time and effort to email google just to be told "You should have received email with the cancellation reason. We cant't help you, we cant send it to you, we cant issue new code"(I have not received any email explaining why the order has been cancelled)
      Spoke to Spotify, the same. Noone knows why, noone cares. So poor Customer service.
      Ended up cancelling the Spotify account just for the frustration.
      And no, I have never had google mini.

  • hmm. got an email saying my google home mini is now available and when i go to the store, i just get a blank page with 'Choose your Google Home Mini.' at the top. Hope they fix it.

    EDIT had to sign out of google account then click on link from spotify for it to work.

  • Can I downgrade my family acc to student now? I'll be charged $17.9 on 17/5 while mine is expected to deliver on 24-30/5. I am worried that if i downgrade now it would cancel my order as well.

    Promotional codes cannot be used with Guest Checkout, so you must have a Google account and be signed-in to that Google account to redeem the Promotional Code and you will need to have or add a form of payment approved by Google at checkout.

    LOL! I was able to use Guest Checkout since Google blocked my GPay (pending supply of government issued identity verification documents).

        No confirmation email. Also, the promotional code is still active.

        • mine showed $79 as well. I just had to start again using the register link. Every time I wasn't logged into my google account first it would try to charge me $79.

    Got mine few days ago, surprised by the volume and decent quality of the speaker tbh.. a few reviews I read were pretty critical of it but im pleasantly surprised.

    Now just have to buy shit to control using it, started with mirabella wifi light bulbs from kmart
