Was trying to find a new microwave and came up with this one. Bonus 2 x Gold Class tickets which retails about $40 each. You could get the tickets cheaper using different codes and coupons but even without the bonus tickets its still the best priced large microwave with really good rating.
Would be good to use those to see the new Avengers: End Game
Microwave has really good rating.
The promotion is across a few different LG microwaves so there's a few different sizes and styles you can choose from.

Realized I was comparing different Smeg model, other places selling that model for similar price. However I found this better deal
I found this better deal
Is Lucky-Goldstar as good as Smeg though?

Normally get these for $25 each.
Depends on state

How long do you have to wait for gold class before or after avengers
You can usually enter 5 minutes before it starts.

This is cheaper right?
Different model, that one with the knob is generally available at a slight discount compared to the one with touch controls
the one with the knob isn't as popular.
Good to know :)
I prefer the OP's one with no knob - looks sleeker.
Great microwave, have used them at relative's houses, only downside (for me anyway) is the annoying tune it plays instead of simple beeps like every other microwave.
It runs very quietly too.
We have these at work. You're right that tune is annoying.
Greensleeves?
You can hear the tune it makes here in this video at 4:50 mark. The old microwave beeps first as it was started a bit before the LG.
I've got the knob one. It eats wi-fi for breakfast while heating mine.
THIS!
So Knobs are bad? :-)
Knobs are camel thieves
Keep your router away from the microwave or start using the 5GHz frequency band for WiFi. WiFi and Microwaves work on the same frequency 2.4GHz, except one is powerful enough to cook your food.
All wifi home automation products are only 2.4 and sonos speakers as well
Is there a WiFi friendly microwave yet
Bought today, HN currently offering additional $20 spend anywhere EFTPOS card with the deal!
For anyone still looking at this item and is willing to take a risk, Graysonline on eBay currently selling a refurb of this for $71.16 (with code PHONO applied), 4 left in stock at time of writing.
I've read some negative experiences in relation to Graysonline, but for $71 and change, even if it's got some marks on it, I'm willing to take a punt.
This is how they describe the item condition on the ad:
GRADE 1

What happened to the Smeg one ?
