  • I've got the Universal 100th anniversary edition. Anyone know if there's a difference with this one.

    • Also own the Universal 100th anniversary DigiBook edition and from what I can tell there is no difference from this and standard versions. Other than the 40th Anniversary cover to coincide with the theatrical screening at the time and being just a single disc only release in a jewel case without any extra booklet.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back onto Amazon….

Who’s humming the theme right now?

  • One of the best examples of how great an old film can look on Blu Ray. A truly beautiful restoration that Spielberg oversaw himself.

    • +2

Opening scene from underwater still not any clearer,

      • Let your imagination do the rest…

        • Ahhhhh. More upscaling.

  • Still haven't seen this movie, I've come this far may aswell just wait for a remake it's bound to happen

    • Its good!

    • +2

Considering remakes these days, Quint would probably be a woman, Martin Brody's role would be reversed with his wife and Hooper would be gay.

      Stick to the original…

      • Following the "cluster of interactions" Jaws itself would be tagged and released.

    • Regrettable attitude, but it's a free world. It's not some middling, forgettable throwaway, easily re-marketed for a cash-grab. I guess if you've seen The Meg then you've already seen Jaws….or not.

  • This film made me wary of swimming in our backyard pool. The fact the shark was junk actually helped because they showed it sparingly until the end. The scariest scene was the body dropping out of the bottom of the boat. Iconic film

13-year old me needed clean jocks after that scene.

You're going to need a bigger bargain.
