200

This has been popular in the past.
I have 2 of these & I have found them useful for
a) Travel
b) Mounting behind a bedside table to save space on the table top.

It's not perfect (no surge protection, USB, etc).. but it is useful in specific circumstances.

Here is the product description:

With a 1.5 metre extension cord and 5 power outlets neatly packed into a cube, the PowerCube is the ideal power solution for your home or office.

Enjoy enough outlets for all your appliances
Mount your PowerCube on the underside of your desk or on the wall
Eliminate clutter and manage power cords
Perfect for the home or in the office, the Allocacoc PowerCube with 5 Outlets is the ultimate power solution. The PowerCube can be mounted on the wall or on the underside of your desk, so you no longer have to crawl along the floor to plug in your devices.

Taking up 70% less space than the traditional 4 outlet power board, the PowerCube is the perfect, compact solution for managing your power cords.

Highlights:

5 power outlets
1.5 metre extension cord
Mounting dock included

Thanks for your first post. Hope it'll be the first of many. It's a good deal. I have one. Decent product, especially in circumstances when you are working around others for the day in a temp setup and you all have laptops plugged in around a table.

        it need USB ports.

        Otherwise may as well get:
        Chevron Powerboard 4 Outlet = $ 4 @ Big W

        (unless specifically want power cube)

OP just provided you a link to a product with USB ports!

@brian77: I am saying that a cube with 5 power outlets is not worth $15 as you can get a 4 outlet for $4 (And a double adopter for $2)

Then I am saying that IF it had USB ports then it would be worth $15.

However at $25, you may as well get the Xiaomi 3/3 power board for $20.

Not trying to have a go at Op. it Is a good deal IF looking for cube. However much more useful if had USB.

            The End.

            • @Ti-au: I agree with your overall opinion about the USB ports being present. It sounded like you were having a go at OP though.

            • @Ti-au: What’s a double adopter?

            • -1

@Ti-au: For all the downvotes here is a real bargain: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/451786
              (unless you want cube).

              iwin

              • @Ti-au: 3amps across 4 USB ports, not cubed, available in only 1 location.

Or 2 USB but just 2 plug sockets for $19 https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/allocacoc-powercube-2-outlets-2…

  • the problem is the cables go in all directions

  • Love these units (well the ones with USB on them :P).
Very handy for the shed and for power access on my desk.

  • Can anyone with the USB one confirm if the 2100mA is shared or per port.

    Connectivity
    USB Ports 2 x 5V 2100mA
