Looks like a fantastic deal and the cheapest I have seen this model for. Looks like they also include free removal and installation as well.

  Common comment in reviews: "Freezer is smaller than expected."
  One comment said there is a compressor (to operate dual cooling) at the back of the freezer cutting down the space.

  Good price. Would prefer larger freezer (for OzBargain supermarket deals), preferably bottom mount. But that costs a lot more.

    Yeah, I've got one of these but in white.

    Freezer is definitely smaller than average, as you said; due to the 2nd compressor that allows you to use it as a fridge instead of a freezer if you want.

    I live alone and the freezer is always full or near-full. Take that for what it's worth.

      The second compressor does save energy. Fridges are the biggest energy uses in most homes, so even a small efficiency improvement can save decent dollars. Having said that Samsung fridges are notorious for the drainage tube clogging up, so if you see water leaking inside… get it sorted ASAP.

        Still only 3.5 star with this model.
        The Samsung 458L Bottom Mount gets 4 stars without the dual compressors. Was $846 delivered at TGG in a deal.

    115 litre freezer is normal for a 400 litre (combined) fridge.
