Rep, do you have any 3G netbooks with similar features as this Acer one?
Sorry, we don't have any 3G netbook. However, all these netbooks are compatible to any 3G dongle
Hey this one has Android installed. I wonder how does it feel like to play Android games on this sytem.
Edit: review here: http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/netbooks/acer-aspire-one-d255-revi…
The review is for D255 though, not D255E, but I guess it's similar.
According to review, Android is pretty useless on this system. Still good value though.Hint: Have a look above, look at the pic & read the description. We'll play a bit of 'Where's Waldo'! :p
?? Sorry, don't really get it.
Ok, we'll change the game to 'Where's Windows'! ;)
Still don't get it. Not sure you mean that system only comes with Windows 7 Starter.
If you click on the link from the Rep and read the spec, you will see it come with Android & Windows dual boot. Not sure it is what you mean though.
Sorry, my bad…I thought you were assuming it never came with Windows at all.
Link opens up to $349 as price. What am I doing wrong?
Same here, $349.95 in-fact.
Price change from 279.95 to 349.95 within 2 hours of posting the deal, amateurish!
I guess the company had system glitch. It's back to $279 now…I am going to go get it nwo

is that so Kiteyoyo? Considering this is your first post, I suspect your the rep trying to spam how awesome this deal is —> luring customers —> profit! ;)
Edit: Also like to point out the same location and same registration date :)
Nice try, but I won't be your sucker to suck. ;)
Blimey Hiro you are a bit of a tough marker - everyone has to make a first post sometime. I'll assume kiteyoyo is innocent until proven guilty. :-)
Is kiteyoyo an OO rep?
OK Hiro - the post above shows him guilty.
If you think it's sockpuppeting Hiro report it to the mods, let them check it out!
Look, I'll do it so save arguments, nothing against kiteyoyo, I'm not accusing, but it's an utter waste of time us debating it & anyone making accusations without proof!
Apologies for the inconvenience caused. This product is meant to be sold for 279.95. There were some caching issue and that was the reason it was displaying $349.95. You can continue shopping this product on price advertised.
Apart from this having a 6-cell battery, is there anything on this better this MSI one at Officeworks? http://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Com…
Serious question, not trolling.
.1" extra display
I would imagine the extra battery power would be worth the difference though.
Wonder if it has bluetoothDifferent processor too, Intel Atom N450 (Acer) v Intel Atom N455 (MSI)
Not sure which one is better.
N450 supports up to DDR2-667, TDP 5.5W
N455 supports up to DDR2-800 and DDR3, TDP 6.5W
Given these are netbooks, the 6-cell battery IS the major plus. Prices on OEM 6-cell batteries bought separately as add-ons start at a minimum of around $100 each - so finding netbook with 6-cell for under $300 is hard to do.
Looks like this one may be sold out now (or expired!!??) So if anyone has any other tips on reasonable brand sub-$300 netbooks (delivered to or pick-up in Brisbane) with 6-cell battery please point me in the right direction. (We just returned the recent Clive Peeters online one from OzB because what we collected from store turned out to be 3-cell only despite their online ad!)
decent battery at least.
