Just want to say a thank you, finally making the jump to SSD, 500GB is more than enough for my purpose and was about to pull the trigger on eBay for $20 more. Shame the far cry redeem is for 1TB+ though.
No problem, I have been following ssds for about a year now and I’ve watched 2tb’s drop from 700 and would constantly send deals to a friend who was after them and they would never buy them so I’m glad I could finally get someone to buy an ssd
The Samsung 500GB was $103 on ebay last week. I think I saw it down to $93 somewhere, maybe Amazon USA tho?
The 2TB 860 QVO is faster than the 1TB 860 QVO. The 2TB has more cache and DRAM, and it can transfer data at twice the rate (80mb/s vs 160mb/s). In case anyone cares.
