well it's $300 to $350 cheaper across the board through Amaysim across the whole range of models compared to Samsung directly. Not bad for committing to a month of pre-paid
Buying a 28 day prepaid SIM starter pack isn't really a commitment. You don't even have to use it. Just make sure auto recharge isn't on in your account settings.
Yeah I was able to get the 512gb ultra with buds 3 for around $1300, this is pretty bad pricing for the povo spec s25
Those who may need to buy NOW, definitely can't go back in time to buy using pre-order deals. Hence, no point comparing with those now. Better compare whats available now for someone who is in the market to buy a new phone.
P.S. I paid ~$900 for my S25U using Samsung Education store pre-order deal. But definitely no deals will now come close to pre-order deals..
But it's still good to share that information, if someone can hold off, or use a 2nd hand phone for 12 months for the next pre-order deal.

Yeah every comment I see with prices on that thread was for S25U which was a bit annoying. I feel like the ppl who bought the S25U just scammed themselves given the minor spec differences with the base S25. And you can't even use the ultra with 1 hand…
I got the base S25 from that deal for almost half the price OP paid
@bumluffa: There are valid reasons for S25U over base S25. My friend went to a once in a life time concert and was even up close standing in the mosh pit they regreted the phone choice immediately when they weren't able to capture the moment with their S23+ vs someone next to them with s23 ultra.
@CodeXD: My new S25 takes noticably worse photos than my old S21 Ultra, especially at night with bright light sources, even with pro mode you can only switch between too dark or washed out.
The plus is a bit of a scam, but I can understand why someone would get the ultra if night photography mattered to them, and it is marginally faster under load with a larger vapor chamber.
No idea why they couldn't give the ultra another 4GB of RAM or something to make it stand out, seems like they had no idea what to do with it beyond better sensors.
I think if you really need it now, its better to search from marketplace. Most brand new S25 series phone in marketplace are probably from JB or Samsung pre-order deal, there's bunch of them so you could ask for much better deal from them. FYI, even if they are selling for $400-$500 profit, its still gonna be cheaper than this deal.

I'd probably wait for better discounts or search retailers if they have better deals. For Comparison the phone itself during Pre-order was about $900
Just got the S24 512gb with trade in and Amex cash back for like 540 im happy enough with that - should last me another 3-4 years

Can't say this deal is anywhere near good. My wife got S25 512gb for $567 ($367 if I deduct the $200 giftcard received) through the JB deal last week.

This deal is good for anyone that doesn't want to deal with scammers or other problems. Not everyone know or want to deal with porting during preorder or have time or other circumstances like their phone just broken after preorder for example.
Just checked, someone is selling in fb marketplace at $950 for S25 with 256 GB in Sydney, another people is selling at $850 in Central Coast for the same storage.
I am not the type of people who change phone every year. It's better to use our phone for long term especially with years of software updates.
