For those that use Skip, what is the benefit of this app? Is it only to jump the queues, as the prices seem to be the normal menus?

  Yep to jump the queue. For example picked up a coffee at 8.30 this morning from my local cafe, about 2-3 waiting to order and 6 more waiting for a coffee. I ordered at home and by the time I walked there it was ready to pickup!
  
  Time to time they have deals like this too, but less so recently with Skip.
