Seems like good price. Same product is for $296 @ Mitre10, & Homehardware. Previous Bunnings price was $237 as per pricehipster.

    Hey mate, I have this currently, this thing is amazing, the 3 spray functions turns my daily shower delightful one. I think for 108 this thing is a steal tbh.

    I have installed a few of these, and to be honest I find them perfectly fine. One did break because someone didn't realise that you had to press a button to chsnge the height (I was able to fix it though), but 2 others have lasted (one of them 10 years so far).

    It has a few settings but I only use the one, and unlike some it has a stainless steel link hose which is nice.

    No doubt the caroma is better, it probably only has steel parts (no plastic) and for a lifetime item its affordable and a good deal, but if you are borrowing to renovate just take the cheap option

  Good price, just remember technically you need a licensed plumber to install it.

  You can't really go wrong with caroma, they are a good mid range brand.

    You dont if its replacing an existing one with the same fitting I dont think?

      That's a good point. New builds require a licenced plumber. I think the code states that you need to have a licensed plumber change it. Also from an insurance point of view, what if there's a leak or the unit got flooded or flooded the entire floor

        From what I have read, leaking showers are hardly covered in standard insurance policies anyway.

  How does this compare to Methven Satinjet Kiri? I have that one currently and it's been the best shower I've ever used!

      There's the Methven Maku Satinjet and that's $99. How would the Caroma compare to that?

    I did some investigation after your post. Went to bunnings Friday night with 2 sets of Methven WELS 3 Star Waipori Satinjet Rail Shower as it was on sale. I installed it and indeed I am now a convert.

      Well I don't know about those different satinjet options, it Waipori and Maku. I've only used the Kiri.

      Does anyone know how these compare to each other?
