Here's a little weekend Saturday offer for all of you! (Another treat coming on Sunday.)

Purchase a WISH Gift Card at Woolworths Gift Cards via ShopBack ($50 denomination or greater) and you'll get $5 bonus cashback. Gift cards are already at a 5% discount, so you'll only need to pay $47.50 worth of real money.

The $5 Cashback Bonus will be credited to your account separately by 8 April. Limited to one bonus per customer.

Terms and Conditions:

  • To qualify for the $5 Cashback Bonus, you must purchase a WISH gift card of $50 face value or greater (before 5% discount) from Woolworths Gift Cards between 30 Mar 2019 12:00 AM - 30 Mar 2019 11:59 PM AEDT through ShopBack.
  • The $5 cashback bonus will be credited into your ShopBack account by 8 April.
  • Limited to one bonus per qualifying customer.
  • Accounts that engage in fraudulent activities will be banned and ineligible for the bonus offer.
  • Customers must redeem at least $10 confirmed Cashback from purchases in his/her Cashback account to withdraw the $5 Cashback Bonus.

  • Hi OP, I have a '+' in my email address which isn't accepted by the Woolies website. Do you know whether there will be any tracking issues if I change the email address on my Woolies gift card account so the order will go through?

    (I'd change it on my ShopBack account to be sure, but I can't do with without contacting customer service)

        I think when you click through to the Woolworths gift card site from ShopBack, it creates/logs you into a Woolworths gift card account with an email address that defaults to what you've used for your ShopBack account.

    With regards to the last point in the T&CS, do you need to have $10 of confirmed cashback to get the $5 bonus? I only have $7.07 of confirmed cashback however $42.83 of tracked cashback. Does that mean I'm not eligible for the $5 bonus?

      Hi spiderpig, no you don't need to. Sorry for the confusion, we probably should say "withdraw" rather than "redeem". You are indeed still eligible.

      Shopback already answered you but I'll throw by experience in and say I've done these promotions in the past without having $10 confirmed cashback also, the listing will still appear and sit there in your account as 'pending' until you reach the required $10.

      Generally after a few days you'll see the transaction come up on your account to confirm you have purchased through us. We will be crediting accounts the $5 separately, which will be done by 8th April.

    I just tried to get one and the page froze up on the last step where it says "processing your request, do not click back or refresh page"
    Nothing has come out of bank account so I just start again?

    Hey store rep, my transaction was declined as my bank thought it was unusual activity. If I try and purchase the gift card again will I still be eligible for the bonus?

    Although ING accounts send me an email withdraw notification without any actual movement in my account

      I had similar issue occurred. Most likely due to your email address if the one you are using is not a common one. You can change the email with Woolworths, but it still links to your Shopback account.

      • I use gmail, and I bought gift cards with this email before. But thank you for the suggestion I'll try changing it to something else

      • I've tried different emails, different banks, different browsers. Keep getting the same error "Sorry! We can't seem to process your payment at this time
        Your payment can't be authorised at this time. Please contact your card provider." My only guess is that there is something wrong with my profile on Shopback account.

          Not sure what could be the issue but maybe account on Woolworths Gift Cards has an issue? If you've redirected from ShopBack to Woolworths Gift Cards fine then there's shouldn't be issues with your ShopBack account.

          • @gotyourback: What's interesting is that apparently Woolworths Gift Card account is created and connected to ShopBack without me being involved in that. I tried using different browsers including a browser where I've never used WW GiftCards and private session as well. But when I click the go to the deal link from ShopBack and land on WW GC page my account is the state I left it in the other browser.

  • Is it supposed to instant for the eCard to arrive? I made my order on Sat but haven't received it.

      Not instant (usually takes a few hours, but up to 48 hours). If you haven't received the eCard yet Woolworths might have put your account on a manual security check.

    • Check your Spam/Junk folders. If nothing found, check to see if you have been charged for it. If you have and still nothing received, then it's probably best to call the Woolworths Wishcard team as you should have received it by now.

      • I called them and got them to send the voucher to another email. Somehow my hotmail email didn't receive anything from them even after ensuring they're on the safe list.

    • Hi F1ngolf, no you won't get an email to indicate whether you've qualified or not. However, we have actually just credited all qualifying accounts now, so please check your cashback history.

    Account says $5 pending, but the email I got says I get Cashback of 0

    Let's hope the account page on the website is the more accurate figure.

    • Just for clarification (understand it's a bit confusing) - the email you received that says $0 cashback is an entry to indicate that you've purchased at Woolworths Gift Cards. The $5 cashback bonus is something that's added separately so you won't receive email notification of that.

      That saying, yes please do check your cashback overview for the more accurate figure.

        • No you don't have to, you can send an email to [email protected] from your registered email address if you like.

          Accounts that have not be credited more than likely have breached the terms and conditions of the offer (ie. multiple accounts),

          Limited to one bonus per qualifying customer.

          Unless you can provide with me your SB email address or send an email to [email protected], I can't pull up your account details to find out why your account hasn't been credited yet.

              @lonewolf: Click on the Pending status, you will likely see other conditions. Eg need to earn $10 in total Cashback, or need to update bank account details. Hope that helps.
