Nah, it's the Bee Gee's special edition drive… comes with sequins. (nar, my bad, fixed, thanks!)

  • Are these savings based on competitors prices or just their own RRP?
ie the Nescafe, is that the cheapest from the likes of IGA/Coles/Woolies?

    • What do you think????

[Hint open the catalogue and have a look maybe ;) ]

      • Sorry I just wanted to know if its a bargain or not. Are the other stores selling it for $24 or $14 or maybe even less?
I did open the catalogue and the coffee has a different saving ($9.70) to what's posted ($10.30) so I thought it may have been based on competitors prices.

(shameless plug) -> You can compare specials realtime on our web site. If it's on special at both stores (which often happens with items like soft drink and prawns), then you can select which one is the cheapest, and it will put it in your shopping list. This comes in really handy if you've got a few different specials on different items from each store, because you can see which store is going to save you the most money easily and quickly.

        • Oh my god. I only just noticed that your nickname = website haha. My brain has learned to filter out anything from .com (and the like) onwards I think.. Thanks again for posting these deals weekly.

  • The Kleenex AV/EU tissues basically at $1 per box is a ripper. The AV tissues were all gone already by lunchtime. Not surprising as you have to buy 5.

  • Woolies is getting a bit lame with these non-food items. I go to Woolies for edible things, not usb drives!!

Goddamnit I need half price energy drinks. Don't fail me now Coles!

    • I think IGA has half price V energy drinks atm. Pack of 4 for $3.99. Only checked the Melbourne catalogue though. Ends 15th of May.

        jv likes it big :P

  • These specials have been lame for awhile now , I think coles and woolworths have sorted out a cease fire agreement

    • they both have noticed the existence of mygroceries.com.au

    Good price for Cadbury

    • Still trying to get through all the Easter eggs though…

  • Cheers bud!

  • thanks!

cadbury choc price is alright. just make sure you dont get the mousse blocks they taste like crap and are only 160g!

shame they dont have those frozen thai curries on special again. I have been living off the prawn curry one, it is so yummy and I never though I would say that about a frozen meal..

  • I was planning on making chocolate mousse this week and the Cadbury blocks are very good for that, imo. Good specials!

  • Thanks for the effort of typing it all out! + from me.

Can never have enough fapkins. There's plenty of the aloe and eucalyptus at Sth Melb.

  • $5 for 1 box of tissues is a bit pricy! :P
Think you should change it to say 5 for $5 :)

    • 95 pack is great, makes your eyes pop out for a split second

  • You want a REAL BARGAIN ?

Stop shopping at Woolworths and Coles. 4 million brain-dead housewives will today spend $200 on groceries, petrol, grog and hardware and it will ALL go to either Wesfarmers(Coles, Bunnings, Dan Murphy, Shell, etc) or Woolworths.

If you want stale 6 month old produce at inflated prices, use your fuel coupons, fly buys, and automatic checkouts which are responsible for UNEMPLOYED cashiers.

Don't whinge about the economy, VOTE WITH YOUR FEET AND MONEY.

    • Problem is, there aren't that many great alternatives. Aldi's is OK, but not fantastic, and the range simply isn't large enough.

I am a little stunned at people buying full price stuff from Coles/Woolworths, though, when it's clear they don't bother looking for discounts or alternatives elsewhere. Sometimes it's unavoidable, though, and that is understandable.
