    Stayed here, nice but over-rated. I notice breakfast ain't included - around $35 from memory per person.

        valet is included for everyone. they do all the parking for you.

        i agree its overrated.

        plus the extras, if you loose a towel you have to fork over $180 and such makes it a bit uncomfortable to go the pools and theme parks with them.

        Its one of the best places in Gold Coast but so many places overseas absolutely kill it in comparison or service, quality and luxury so it wasnt that fantastic for me.

        I doubt youd find anything for $25 in the spa also.

    for near the half price…should fork out the extra money to stay here if already planning for a night at Gold Coast.
    cant go wrong with Versace!

    Agree with above, have stayed here a couple of times - while overrated as a hotel the service is quite nice - the right balance between attentive without being obtrusive.

    At this price I would certainly recommend staying here at least once to see what all the fuss is about. The pillow menu is just fantastic and bathroom amenities, soaps etc smell awesome. The not-as-expensive-as-you-would-think in room spa treatments are really nice too.

    This price is pretty good especially since it includes a free upgrade to a lagoon room. Do yourself a favour and save by not taking the travelzoo tip to upgrade to the superior suite for an additional $50 - not worth it imho, I prefer the lagoon rooms. Instead, put part of that cash towards the breakfast buffet - a great spread!

    FYI a quick tip, unlike the bathrobes, the bathroom slippers embroided with the versace motifs are complimentary - ie you can take it home so don't forget :)

    yes $250 is alot for a hotel, but the Versace is totally worth it! fantastic place
