Not sure if across all Kmart stores but so far found all clearance deals applicable to all stores. I found it in Melton Vic however I didn't buy as I am still far from smart world of gadgets :)

All i see is advertisement paper on a shelf which doesn't mean there's any stock left. But did they actually have any left in stock at the service counter?. This is a good question. The staff might have just neglected to remove the left over shelf advertisement paper.
they had plenty of the advertisement paper when i went in a couple of weeks ago to try and get the TP-link colour bulb. bird behind the counter came out with the white globe so i got excited til i figured out it was the wrong one, which they had no stock of
Not sure why I get all the downvotes? I asked for the colour bulb and gave her the advertisement slip for the colour bulb- I didn't (profanity) up, she did?
In my experience, orphan "take to counter" cards left on shelf, but no stock when asked - is pretty normal at Kmart for Clearance stock.
Absolute bargain! Look at previous deals for suggestions on how to use it.
I went to like 4 Kmarts hunting them lights last time. I’m not falling for this again! Well done to anyone that can secure some though.
I was going to go out first thing tomorrow then remembered I did look last time aswell haha!
What were stock levels like, OP?
How is this still retailing at JB Hi-Fi for $49!?
https://www.jbhifi.com.au/tp-link/tp-link-hs100-smart-wi-fi-…
Because Kmart is clearing them out and not selling them at RRP
Could You Try To PM JB?
Great price!! Was tempted when they were $20. If I find any stock though it'll be great.
Clearance line, no receipt or even any evidence stock exists…
Just a Kmart Clearance price tag & cards to take to service counter & hope stock exists.
Those "take to service counter" cards are sometimes on shelves long after all stock is sold.
Good point. Admittedly was grasping at straws though.
Were the straws on sale?
Yes, it would be a long shot.@INFIDEL: Plastic straws have been on clearance for a while I believe.
OP: How many were actually available @Service Counter?
Unfortunately cards on a shelf often don't reflect actual stock levels.
Customers may take 1 (or no) card to counter & buy many. That leaves plenty of cards on shelf, but little or no real stock!Computer stock level on clearance items could also be inaccurate.
Only way is ask staff to find actual products.
Recently at a Kmart looking for a basic phone from a Deal. Were almost 20 cards to take to service counter, but only 1 in stock when I asked!
There's zero stock. I just went there, and all the cards have been removed as well. Whatever was there, is gone now!
EDIT - They still have the light things (shown in the right of the photo) which are on clearance for $20.
Unless someone can confirm stock actually existed, those cards on the shelf may just be orphans - left over after stock sold out. So first person asking for them - staff would have removed the cards.
The $20 lights in the photo are LB100.
The Colour LB130 are $20 - if stock exists.
Gave Casula a ring and staff said they couldn't find any. :(
So probably no stock any where.
Just a special on "take to counter" cards😉
non in Reservoir or Campbellfield either
can anyone post a receipt please? we may try price beat from other retails
Can you give me an idea or two on how will you use this?
Any practical implementation is much appreciated. It's much more useful to connect any appliances that do not use controlled by a IR remote (only physical buttons)
eg. Fan, electric heater, bedside lights
You first "turn on" the appliances in their physical button
then connect it to smart plug to control whether the plug provide powers to your appliancesFor my use case, I have a couple of LED ceiling lights installed around home and they are connected directly to wall plug
By adding smart plug like this, I can integrate with any voice assistance (i.e google home) and ask google home to turn my lights on/off
The "trigger" point of the smart plug can be various depends on what you have setup
It can be:
- controlled directly from your phone
- integrated with Voice assistance (Google Home / Amazon Alexa)
- smart button (eg. flic button / XiaoMi smart button etc.)
- motion detector (eg. when you pass by, it detect motion and turn on the lights)
- scheduler (set a time auto turn on at 7pm)
- smart remote (eg. Logitech harmony, it can also setup as a bunch of activities)
and many more….nice thanks guys. I think I can use for the purpose when I am out of town or country, just to pretend that someone is living in the house for possible intrusion , I can switch off-on lights ,
I use one on my water cooler at home, this is the schedule:
ON: 5am
OFF: 8am
ON 4:15pm
OFF: 9:30pmI realised there is no use in keeping water cold while I'm at work or sleeping. There's a separate schedule for the weekend which is basically all day but off at 10, back on at 7 (because we sleep in)
Another one is on a basic floor fan for the dog while we're at work. The fan points at her bed and triggers on days that are over 24degrees, between 10am and 5pm (we're at work until 5/6, after then the aircon would be on)
Another one is making my dumb washing machine "smart" so I load the washer up and put water/laundry liquid in it, turn on a cycle and then turn off the smart plug. I set the schedule to turn on 45 minutes before I wake up, go to bed and wake up to a just-washed load to hang out. I used to put on a load then just go to bed but in those 8 hours the clothes would sometimes get a little funky, this solves that.
I bought 2 in December to use with my Christmas lights, I could set the start and end time of the display. One day I was away from home at night and I did not want the lights to be on when there was no one home and from far away I was able to turn all the lights off. Brilliant.
Good! In that I can use for my printer and computer main switch that I cannot reach out easily; which is behind furniture.
Almost a hundred votes with no one getting any. Lol
Ozbait-advertising…
Unicorns are always be popular😀
Seems even Mods love Unicorns…😉
Reported as "Sold Out" last night, but still attracting upvotes😱Revoked upvote last night as no stock found at store, just useless "pick up at counter" cards. And too few of those cards to even make this a Deal.
Just a waste of time - chasing Unicorns👎
Anyone find any stock
Thanks OP I’ll head down to my local Kmart sometime during next week and pick up three or four.
Cheers!
Good luck lol
Anyone knows if stock is available in South Eastern Vic?
None at Burwood, NSW
Thanks
Went to three stores this morning, all had gotten rid of them in previous weeks.
Went to same store. Empty, hard to say if there were many
Not as good as this deal but centrecom have this for 29. Got mine price matched st jbhifi yesterday
Price matched to what?
It would appear that these units come with a bonus unicorn. :)
Surely staff would have bought any remaining at this price. It is a no brainer.
I picked up the last 2 at Aspley Kmart an hour ago.. so might still be some around..
The last one at kmart elanora, Gold Coast. I just happened to see it out the back in the cabinet. It would appear that unicorns really do exist.I wouldn't get your hopes up on getting one it is clearly just stock issues in the stores.
Kmart is the new Officeworks.
FYI. None at Helensvale Qld
Does anyone know how to set a timer for these plug devices in the seconds not minutes? Also does it work with any other app apart from kasa? It’s so basic.
apparently all stock has been sold australia wide.
Should be nationwide, if you're able to find stock. Kmart are clearing out their TP-Link Range of Smart Plug and Globes and replacing them with Mirabella Genio
