  • Melbourne flights have 2 stops, MEL to PER on Virgin. Then PER to JNB. Then JNB to CPT. Good that it doesn’t involve transiting the Middle East like other deals but it’s still 24 hours. Would be interesting to search for flights to Johannesburg rather than Cape Town and knock the 2 hour layover and 2hour domestic flight off the end.

  • +1

remarkable deal, I have to say, thank you for posting

  • Visiting Cape Town now!!
I paid a lot more to fly here. Excellent deal.

Great place to visit. Exchange rate is in our favour, $1 is 10 rand.
City is beautiful, food is great. People are friendly.
Only thing is there are regular electricity cuts at the moment ("load shedding").
Restaurants cope by using gas and generators.
