  $138 for both extended edition trilogies of The Hobbit and LOTR. They've been cheaper before.

  Watching this in Standard Definition is a crime. Those discs should only be used as coasters for your drink while you watch the extended edition blu ray.

  I bought the 15 disc bluray boxset of the extended editions for $26 from zavvi awhile back.
  Only downside from what i recall was some of the special feature discs were dvd region locked instead of being region free blurays like the movies, but no biggie.

    Yeah no biggie as most blu-ray players can play region 2 DVD any how as they are DVD region free players.

    Yeah, I paid about that much too. My blu-ray player (samsung) was able to be hacked be to region-free for DVD's.
