This is an AC/DC Pulse TIG welder (+MMA) that can weld aluminium and many other non-ferrous and ferrous metals. It seems to have good reviews and Australian support (Unimig are based in Australia with staff in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth). Usually >$1200 elsewhere.

    This is supposedly made by Jasic (Chinese) to Unimig's specs.

    Unfortunately I bought a different (Jasic) welder a few weeks before this deal (and paid more) and won't have local support, but already own another Jasic welder (mig) and haven't had any problems.

  I have never seen it below $1200 as stated by OP and have been keeping an eye out for quite a while. This is a great price.
