Generally they dont price match ebay discounts. Tried but never successfully.

    • Brought a fridge today (the original price was the same in store and on ebay) and they priced matched the 20%. I was also able to pay for it using discounted gift cards in store.

Philips Pill Remover GC026, this thing is amazing. Will get a couple for gifts.

    $12.95 - 20%

    • I got this when TGG not honor their Xbox one X deal. It works great

  • Argh…why only Vornado 533 available!?

  • Just remember if you see a deal too good to be true, be prepared that they may just "UNDO" the sale due to price error under their own TGG policy!!
It happened once, means it will happen again

    • Is 20% off RRP really a deal too good to be true? Unless it was an iPhone?

      • no, most of the items are not off from their RRP. in some cases it could be 40 - 50% off (after ebay 20% off)from their RRP depends what promotion they do in their own store.

For an iphone, assume I cannot resell it and have to either use it myself or give to someone for FREE, even TGG give me 50%, I still don't want one.

  • Has anyone here specified Click & Collect for a large item and then paid a separate delivery + installation of new appliance/removal of old appliance fee to the local store? Just making sure it's OK.

  • Sunbeam EM5300 still at the price I paid of $599. Will be a bargain for 20% off.

  • Can we use ebay gift cards along with this discount code ?

    • YES

  • I'm trying to work out if I should pull the trigger on some appliances now or wait. We're doing a build which will be done in 5 months. What are the odds of another deal like this popping up before the build is complete?

I don't want to store this, but saving $$$. Urgh, what to do?!?

    • +1

At the moment for example WH7560J3 which is 7kg is still more expensive than the one I posted before which was 8.5kg. 5 months is quite a long time and if I didn't need it right now, I'd wait. Check how much they were before and whether it is worthwhile. You have 5 months minimum before you start using them, possibly more. That is warranty minus 6 months and plus, buy the time you move in, you might find that what you bought may not fit and or you might want something else.

      • You know I reckon you're right. I'm also waiting to get my ammex card which includes extended warranty benefits (arguable how valuable that is, but not going to hurt!). All in all it doesn't weigh up… I'll wait!

Got the hw-n950 and Chromecast ultra.

    Both for $1050.

    Thanks op!!!

No Jack for me. Samsung UHD TV was $845, got it for $676. Best price elsewhere was $805, so I'm happy.

    Thanks OP.

Anyone getting the message "This code can't be applied to your order"? Trying to get the Google Mesh 3-pack.

    • pay via paypal

      • PayPal is selected.

Edit: Might be my account. My mates account works fine. Mine was originally a UK one so there might be something funky going on.

        • same for me, paypal or credit card

          This code can't be applied.

          I give up

          • @kevsan2402: I signed out and made the purchase as a guest, even though I used the same email, address and PayPal as my eBay account.

Edit: My registered address was different to my delivery address. I updated my account details and now the code works on my account.

            • @moabboy: same - no idea why.

just did it as a guest and worked 1st time.

              Thanks anyway!

        • I can't even login to my UK paypal anymore I had to create an new Aus one…

    • Only been using OzBargain for the first couple of months. Loving the site and the deals!

Finally created an account just to reply to this.

I was trying to purchase the Sony WH1000XM3B they had listed for $399.00. Said it was in stock for local pick up at two stores.
Tried to order and got the same issue, but with an error message - google said it was to do with paypal. Tried CC, tried updating my addresses, tried signing in as a guest. Same error.

An hour later I tried again and see this:
The listing you're looking for has ended.

      https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Sony-WH1000XM3B-Premium-Nois…

Their website still shows in stock at the moment.
      https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/sony-premium-noise-cancelling…

      So much for that deal…

Edit: They re-listed and it worked this time! Followed the link from this post:

        Gone again.

        • It gets better…

Just got this email a couple of hours later from the Store:

In ref to your web order, we have no stock and cannot be ordered we will have to cancel this order, any concerns you will need to contact EBay.

Once you have acknowledged this email we will get this cancelled.

After my money has already been taken.

          Edit:
Got a reply, they have no stock in SA apparently. Didn't even give me the option of having the item posted despite saying delivery is available on their webstore.

          Edit 2:
          Nope:
Unfortunately not, as this order has now been cancelled as you requested.

They have the Silver WH1000XM3S in stock. Asking if they'll honour the price.
          https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/sony-premium-noise-cancelling…

  • No Surface listed in the sale at all

  • Stupid question alert:

Can I use my GoMastercard to get this on 'interest free'?

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-LG-GS-B680WL-687L-Side-By-Si…

I think I know the answer but would like confirmation!

  • Tried to get an airfryer but the code didn't work. Anyone else having trouble with the code?

    • Yeah. I ended up making the purchase as a guest because my account didn't like the code. I kept getting the "the code can't be applied" error when I was signed in.

Just had my local Goodguys call me about delivery.

    Asked if I can collect.

And they said yes but would forfeit my delivery fee.

Why wasn't I able to click and collect but can now pick it up from a local store…

  • +1

I went into the Carseldine QLD store to check on a food processor. Found it there, the one the wife wants, plenty of stock. Go onto eBay for Click n Collect and only stores available for that are on southside of Brisbane… ages away. Check their own website, plenty of stock at Carseldine and surrounding stores to Click n Collect but of course no 20% off. What gives?

    • Yep it's a joke.

Happy to charge me $54 for delivery.

And call me an hour after I placed the order saying I'm able to collect from a local store if I don't want delivery but can't get my delivery fee back??? What the?

      • lodge a paypal claim for the delivery fee to be refunded?

        • PayPal can only step in if it doesn't get delivered or is damaged or not as described.
          :(

    • +1

yeah man i commented earlier on about this, (profanity) annoying i dont want to drive to loganhome or ipswich for something that is in stock at every (profanity) northside store

  • Damn I jumped the gun on buying something yesterday before this came out.

I still haven't picked up my item, but can I just return that and purchase it again using this? I don't know if The Good Guys let's change of mind returns

    • +2

      From ebay Goodguys.

      What is the return policy?

If you have received your order and you wish to return it, the item must be returned within 30 days after you have received it and the packaging must be unopened or in a sellable condition. You will have to pay the return postage or take it into your nearest The Good Guys store.

      • Thanks mate! I haven't picked up my package yet so once I get there I'll be returning it on the spot lol

  • I have been watching the nutribullet RX at the GG and it has been on sale for $249. I want to click and collect because the postage is $38 but out of stock for many GG stores. I check their webpage and they do have stock in store.

So I went to Harvey Normans 2 days ago and got the sales guy down to $220. Then today GG have the 20% off on ebay, but still no CNC stock in my area, so if they did have stock for CNC I would have saved another $21. :/

How come BingLee can post the same item from the same location for $10 and GG want $38?

  • Pulled a trigger on Huawei Nova 3e a.k.a. Huawei P20 Lite for European market.
    Good buy at $319!

  • Any good Bosch Dishwasher deals?

Ahh, the missus finally got the Lenovo laptop she wanted … Yoga 530 Touchscreen, Core i5, FHD, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD $1199 + $10 postage. GG price was not bad ($1399) before the 20% off, now the cheapest we've seen it from a major dealer (she didnt want a small retailer). Thanks op.

    For people playing at home.

Went to collect my soundbar and they refunded the delivery instore.

    • oh great news man. are you in Brisbane at all? i know 4 stores around me have stock but only stores on the other side of town have them showing stock on ebay. really hoping to pay for shipping and get the call to pick it up from a closer store also

      • +1

        I'm in adelaide.

The storeman said when he called I wouldn't but the front desk just processed a PayPal refund request.

Bought a new washer/dryer combo.. saved 200 bucks.. click-and-collected and installed already, DONE! SWEEET!

  • I'm interested in buying one of the Miele C3 vacuum cleaners from the Good Guys eBay store. There's a current Miele promo that offers 2 years of bags. Has anyone had experience in redeeming these promos in store through buying through eBay? The offer is to collect the bags in store, but this is an ebay online purchase, so not sure if i'll get it. I've messaged Good Guys ebay, who told me to ask Miele, i've asked Miele, and they've told me to go back to Good guys. So not getting anywhere with checking this before I purchase…

  • +1

item is in stock for the closest store but out of stock in eBay. what a joke

  • Anyone know if the ebay GG store can also get their current egift cards on select Samsung fridges/washers?

  • How often does TGG have these 20% off?
    Im asking because TRS.
    Im travelling overseas in July..
    Cheers..

    • +1

Last year there was one every quarter. I'm willing to bet there will be another one in mid June.

  • +1

Warning: they will not give an item out unless the person whose name is on the eBay purchase order presents their drivers licence or passport.

Now I have a $30 item 40km away from home that I can't collect because they won't give it out to my spouse.

    • Can you write an authorization letter maybe?

    • Must say that is pretty stupid. Had the same thing wanting for a Miele filter, plus copy of the eBay email, sms. If I could fake DL, what makes them think I couldn't fake everything else. If it was an expensive item, I'd agree.

      • Yeh it's pretty stupid. They just pointed to the sign that says what's required for an eBay pickup.

She had the eBay email, the PayPal email and the good guys email and still they don't give it.

Also it doesn't even say that stuff is required until you get the email saying your stuff is ready.

        • They could do like Rivers. Show them the pin and away you go. If only people wanted to learn instead of brainstorming ideas in caves. it should be all standardised across shops, so you always know what you need when picking it up.

    • Yeah, there's no mention of that before you buy. Definitely grounds for a refund.

  • Scored a hero7 black and will claim TRS within 30 days. Under $380!! Ozbargained

  • Picked up a Chromecast 3rd gen for $47 to improve my Kayo experience. Click and collect was ready within an hour or so, so pretty easy.

  • Not sure if this was asked before. I have TGG giftcards which I want to use. Can I use with this deal on their ebay store? Thx

    • No deal unfortunately

  • Purchased and item to the click and collect option at 10:30am. Haven’t received the email that it’s ready to collect. How long does it take for them to prepare the item for collection?

    • My kindle was ready 3 hours later. It would depend on the store and the item. Assuming an item like a TV at a busy store would take some time.

It should have said a guaranteed time it is ready for collection on the eBay page, I'm sure if you rocked up with evidence of that they would just go and pack up the item for you while you're standing there.

      • It says ready in 3 business hours but will be notified when ready. But Its more than 3 hours now and I haven’t been notified.

        • Sometimes take a day or two

        • Just call them, they can usually process for you to pick up right away. They’ve done it twice for me at 2 different TGG stores.

          • @Chippy47: Called them, said it’s ready for collection. Collected my purchased still haven’t got any email that it’s ready for collection.

This turned out to be a great sale!

    • jaaaaaccccckkkkkkk……. said everyone on the previous 2 pages..

  • Thanks op bought Sunbeam SM7200 Stickmaster Blender for $40 with free Pickup in store.
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-Sunbeam-SM7200-Stickmaster/1…

  • My store just makes it go out of stock on Ebay when they have stock in store.

    • Aren't TGG all privately owned/franchises?

Possibly some of the owners are not participating?

      • that was the case up until mid 2017. goodguys got bought out again and then sold to JBHIFI.

  • Kenwood FDM302SS Multipro Compact 800W Food Processor was $119 now jacked up to $149 which after 20% off is the same price. WTF…

  • Has TGG always had delivery per item? I got 3 small items in my cart and delivery is $5.26 each, ~$15 for 3 small items.

    • +2

      yes, always

  • Does anyone know if they do premium delivery for large appliances purchased through their ebay store? I want my old appliance removed when the new one is delivered.

  • Item i purchased arrived today… and they sent the wrong one.

First time I've bought anything from Good Guys, but going by their Ebay feedback i'm guessing i need a deal on lube because it's going to be a painful order to get the problem rectified.
