Yes, almost instant land fill. Shame reviews are so consistently bad, would've got a couple for the kids.
the aldi ones (when on special) are quite decent.
I also hit up OP shops for them. if they are slightly weathered but in great knick then I buy those - i.e. they have been used and have not fallen apart yet so they are more likely to not fall apart… i guess.
Do you live near the beach?
about 400 metres away.
@altomic: Not sure if my Op shop typically has boards… Your location probably helps there :-)
Anyone have any recommendations for a good snorkel set?
Mares
Try these Target ones for $10 if you aren't a regular snorkeller?
I prefer the full mask snorkel as you can breath normal by your nose.
If you want a genuinely good snorkel set do try your local dive store. You really should try on the mask as different faces suit different masks. A poor fitting mask will result in leaks and fogging that detract from your snorkelling (or diving) experience.
I personally have a Tusa mask and snorkel. I have fins from Scubapro (scuba) and Mares (snorkel). My husband has a Mares mask I think and the same types of fins.
Agreed.
Best mask I've had out of a stack is the Aqualung micro mask. Generally Aqualung are good!
had a mate recommend these from amazon - apparently they're amazing for the price. good if you have prime

This would solve my problem of water leaks from having a beard when snorkeling, but create a new problem of looking like a bit of an idiot.
Looking at the board reviews even at $15 it’s a waste of money as the board bubbles quickly and becomes damaged easily. It only gets one star from lots of upset parents and children who returned it soon after buying it. 😞
