FYI. When I got mine (about 2 years ago so it could have changed) I needed to register it on the site when I got home. No biggie but I thought it might be worth a mention just so you know.

The Vibe Card is a customer loyalty card, free from any Boost shop. You may have to buy a Boost before you are able to get one, so I suppose technically it isn't a freebie for anyone without one. But in that case you could consider it a "Buy one, do a star jump, get one free" offer….
Assuming you don't need to buy anything to get the card (and I'm pretty sure you don't but I could be wrong):

I dunno. Getting the card is free so you just ask a card then ask for your "star jump deal". It might add a few minutes to claiming the deal but it's still free I'd say.

lol I'm pretty sure they would accept just the top half of a star jump in that case. My mate always gets the sympathy vote (discounts, free stuff, better service) because of his chair, he's so smug about it to us too :P
I did that sort of stuff when I was in retail. People "having fun/getting in to it/giving it a go" was all it took for me.
I have a bad back and it hurts to raise my arms above my head and jump. Should I sue Boost for discrimination?
If you don't have a doctors certificate regarding that problem, you won't be able to sue due to the proof over reasonable doubt part in business and retail law. If you do have one, you won't need to. Show the certificate, raise your arms as much as you can, legally they can't say no as far as I'm aware.
I have a feeling you couldn't sue anyway. I think there is a retail law about if you're not paying for it, different rules apply but I'd check that just to be sure. Also under certain circumstances the star jump could be considered a form of payment so if you can't "pay" for your product, you're not entitled to it. Barter law and theft law I think.
Boost could play on either, or even both of these.
Honestly, I think you should just suck it up if you'll pardon the pun. Is it really worth suing over a $4-$6 juice drink?

Boost will have medical staff at each outlet along with a fitness instructor with a ruler to assess each star jump. They will also have a lawyer to discuss any legal issues and to get collect waiver forms before each jump. There will be camera and marketing crew to video jumps for advertising purposes and dieticians to help with the suitable selection of the free boost. Physio staff will be in attendance for the post jump massage and religious clergy in case you don't make it ;-)

No, they can't tell. I got 2 free Boosts last year cause I was in the city. Hopefully, they haven't changed it or anything!

Wow. How could anyone not know what a star jump is? Do they not play these exercise games in primary school anymore? Are people really that lazy they don't even KNOW of the most basic of exercises?
And to add it in the description? Are people really too lazy to look it up for themselves? Next we'll be needing a dictionary description for each word of the description…
If you don't know what a star jump is nor be bothered to look it up, a Boost juice is probably not your thing… It makes the whole idea redundant.

That's exactly my point, you're perpetuating peoples laziness and losing of research skills. Why should anyone know or learn anything when everything is just handed to them by someone else? Really, what's the point?
And the fact that only a ridiculously small amount of people would not know what a star jump is pretty much renders the point of putting that information in moot anyway. And it's not about a "star jump", it could be anything. It's about babying people.
At least 2 people are going to hone their research skills and get in the habit of doing things for themselves if you don't hold their hand and do it for them.
That sort of thing is what perpetuates and encourages laziness, ignorance and expectant behaviour.

These challenges are in the newsletter every month, but they don't seem to announce them to staff. I've tried to do them before only to be met with blank looks from the 16 year olds working there when I asked for my free boost.
