Can someone please enLIGHTen me?
They are projecting their anger on the wrong thing.
Well in that case they’re not very bright. Best to compare and contrast features against other projectors in the price range before deciding.
3000 lumens is dishonest.
Chinese makers publish inflated arbitrary numbers.
Only the ANSI Lumen value should be published.
thanks mod - title edited. They do say the resolution is "native", which makes that claim meaningful.
Resolution spec without "native" is as meaningful as lumens without "ansi", ie not.Suspect Ruslan means naive and native is a typo.
Get one NOW. Kogan is number one.
(Australias most complained about company.)
Ask for free duct tape to keep it together when you return itOh story time.. please continue
Any links to reviews?
Pretty sure it's a rebranded one of these - https://www.amazon.in/APEMAN-Projector-Video-Theater-Android… . The picture says 3000 lumens 1080p, but the description says 700 lumens and native 1200x800, which sounds much more realistic for a LED projector at this price.
Was expecting a picture of Ruslan.
I'll bet it has an AMAZING lens for that price. /s
i suspect this is native full hd given the price. Most likely HD but it can play FULL HD videos and down scaling to HD quality.
Might need to check with Kogan sales rep
personally, i would recommend https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07F1Z1NVR/ref=ox_sc_ac… over Kogan Projector.
Or even cheaper for this

That describes this one for $199 - https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-hd-projector/
So the one for $299 probably is 1080p. That won't be 3000 ANSI lumens though
Fair enough. $300 for a native full HD projector IN AUSTRALIA is pretty good tho.
A friend wants to know what you're on and where to get some.
I've been looking closely at these new budget LED light source projectors. A few years ago the brightness of these things was a joke but now LEDs are getting brighter and brighter they are actually starting to overtake the traditional lamp market. The resolution on these budget projectors still seems to be limited to 720P but when you can have a 120" image on your wall for a fraction of the price of a TV it's worth considering.
This is what I think I'm about to pull the trigger on. It's the Vankyo Leisure 510. Reviews and independent photos (Amazon US) of it in action, and YouTube reviews, seem to show that it's a pretty good unit. Colours are good and picture is sharp. It comes in around the same price as the Kogan one listed above. There are some coupons floating around to get a little bit more off if you have a quick google.

Yeah, and it's the same as
https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07F1Z1NVR/ref=ox_sc_ac…
And AAO YG600 on Aliexpresshttp://www.lejiadasz.com/index.php?c=content&a=show&id=498
They all come from the same manufacturer (http://www.lejiadasz.com) with different brand name.
Any idea if they plan to release a native 1080P version soon? I wouldn't mind paying a little more for a native 1080P.
This on posted is 1080p native

Yes, the second one but it's not on the market yet.
@fchis: I think the Vankyo's 1080P native version is the V600. Going by the recent date of posted reviews on YouTube and the lack of availability I'd say it's only just been released. Can't see the same offering on Lejiadasz.com yet.

@matt-e: Looks like a rebranded of this from Taobao
https://m.tb.cn/h.3wvBRd3?sm=894d97
It's Also native 1080p and looks exactly the same. It's also about the same price as YG600 shipped.
Obviously not.
Might come from that shed though.
An illumenating deal!
