  • You got me excited, it's actually AVV to Sydney rather than MEL which is for $45. I'll wait for a tiger air sale and get Jetstar to price match instead :)

    • What the difference?

      • Avalon is further from Melbourne city.

        It's like flying to Sydney's second airport, oh wait that doesn't exist yet. 😢

      • It'll take you twice as long to get to Mel…the train between Avalon and Melbourne city is almost as long as the flying time between SYD and MEL.

        • Though on second thought… the taxi into Melbourne from Tullamarine sometimes rivals the flying time…

    • Ah sorry. There's also MEL (Tullamarine) but it's a bit more expensive.

  • Price beat and got Mel-cns for $78!

  • Anyone know what the cheapest MEL (tullamarine) - SYD flight has been/can be?

    • Cheapest recently has been around the high 60's each way - that's both JetStar and Tiger.

  • SYD = Sydney, obviously. OOL = Ooluru?

    • +1

      OOL = Gold Coast

  • Oh no, Jetstar, good luck. Just used their service, end up paying more than Virgin due to they very very strict on carry on luggage and end up paying $60 extra and still luggage was shipped on the next flight, have to waiting in the airport for over an hour for the luggage. Customer service was not great either, however can't blame them due to their company policy.

    Even though paid extra for carry on luggage already.

    • You breached the conditions of the ticket? What did you expect?

      These are a little over $7 for next time.
