These look like a solid deal. For a budget 1080p gaming system another angle could be to add to an existing PC a used RX 570 for $120-150, which is roughly 10% the performance of the RX580.

    • 10% total or 10% less?

Haha, sorry, meant 10% less performance.

I think Ryzen 5 2600 RX 580 8GB 120GB SSD 8GB DDR4 was cheaper on their website last time at 699 without any coupon.

Hmm I want to convince my brother to get into PC gaming rather then just his PS4.

I asked him the other day half jokingly what his budget would be, he said 1k. This is interesting might pass it by him.

I'm only on my second PC that I've built, late last year and can't bring myself to make a build for him sticking to 1k budget lol. I tend to over pick parts that I would want.

console gaming is pretty comfy though, sitting on a couch playing games and its simple to use.

  • With the same deal for $1699 you can get a ryzen 5 2600 + rtx 2080 build
Also comes with keyboard, mouse and
    27inch monitor(only gives 15% discount for that rather than 20%) https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ryzen-5-2600-RTX-2080-8GB-240GB-…

  • Or for 1199.20 you can get the same build with a 2070 and 24inch monitor instead. 😶

    • thats a decent deal. im pretty comfortable with my xb1x though atm.

  • I just need either a laptop to run multiple screens (3) or a desktop as i trade forex for a job, I am going away midyear so leaning towards the laptop. Could anyone recommend either a good best value for money laptop set up or maybe a desktop that has a re sell market that I could get my $ back or close in 6 months. I only use it to run youtube and facebook and maybe 3 windows browsers all at the same time (not gaming) I'm kind of a noob in relation to setting up a laptop or dekstop so if anyone could also push me in the direction of an educational channel on what i need to build in my laptop or desktop that would be appreciated. Under 1000$ would be great but if i can get quality for value i'm willing to pay

Check out a Dell Inspiron, sounds like it would work for you quite well.

That's $1039, but will sit your needs. Alternatively there's the cheaper version at mid $800 that'll do you well too, both 1080p screens (full HD) and both 8gb ram. The more whitening comes with a 16gb Intel optane drive to help with performance. If there extra $200 if with it for you to look that!

      • Thanks

        • Sorry phone auto corrected the more "expensive" not whitening.
