  • That is UHD, not FHD, on the first one. You are a rep?

Why bother mentioning the inferior refurb, less warranty, for only $20 less??

Choice? Though admittingly a bad one

  • I have one of these and it's a good TV for the price.

Rep could you tell me when the sale will end? Might put it in an Airbnb.

    • The sale is ending on the 19th!

I bought the JVL 55" Chromecast just recently (rebadged Soniq) for $390 including shipping after discount (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/433145) - been happy with it so far - Chromecast is out of date but basic connection from phone still works - netflix, etc. may be an issue….need an external input ideally but the screen is ok..

Just realised they charge $60 for shipping on this so total cost is $479..

    • Any idea how the JVL TV is 120hz? Seems like the highest is 60hz.
This Soniq N55UX17B-AU TV was previously advertised as 120hz but now changed to 100hz.

      • no idea & no easy way to test for me.. Picture quality is actually good depending on video source of course.

Not sure where the 100/120hz comes from but it appears to be incorrect - it seems neither the JVL or Soniq TV's go above 60hz as per the specs in the manual: HDMI: 480p, 576p, 720p (50/60Hz); 1080i (50/60Hz); 1080p (23.97/24/25/29.97/50/59.94/60Hz); 3840x2160(24/25/30/50/60Hz)

  • Note that if you are in a multi building apartment complex, they will only drop the TV at gate. Forget about coming to door, they won't even come to your building.

    • Luckily it's lightweight (I could carry it 1 handed up the stairs out of the box!)… But for $60 shipping that's a bit rude..

      • Yeah, it sucks, but that's what happens when you work with third-party couriers :/
All we can do is hopefully support you with our warranty team if there are any issues

  • Is there any difference in the quality of the display between

    and https://www.soniq.com/au/shop/N55UX17B-AU-detail models ?

  • I'm more impressed with the 43" for $199!
